• Cut the felt into desired shapes

• Next, cut a small slit in the center of each felt shape.

• The slit should be big enough for your button to fit through.

• Finally, slip the shapes over your buttons and wear with style.

This art craft would be an easy way to make a cute Halloween costume look very festive, just by adding a few cute orange pumpkins, yellow and orange candy corn, or some black bats to a plain sweater or shirt will give a plain outfit some life. By starting out with a plain look adding felt cut out designs will create a whole new look. For the scary kid that loves to be frightful cut some skulls out of white felt and attach them to a black button up shirt, or use black felt and cut out small black cats or bats and attach them to a white button up shirt. A cute little girl can attach some cut out felt shapes of pink, purple or yellow flowers, pink hearts and a cute little blue bird to make a fun princess outfit come alive. When it's dark and the cooler weather is here trick or treaters need a little warmth so now you decorate that plain sweater.

If a child wanted to dress up like grandpa for a fun Halloween party they could wear their matching denim over-alls. By cutting out some felt shapes using yellow and green you can create small corn husks and attach them to the buckles. Since some over-alls have buttons on the front pockets you can cut out some small green tractors and add some straw poking out. Kids love to dress up so let them help you create a one of a kind outfit.
