Appetizer Recipes for Your Holiday Party

One very quick and delicious chip dip recipe I got in college from a friend from Puerto Rico. It's simple and always gets rave reviews.

Needed:

2 8 oz block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese (fat free works good too)

2 cans of chili with beans

A bag or two of Tostito Chips (the small ones work real well with the dip)

In a microwave safe bowl, combine cream cheese and chili. Heat and stir on 30 second intervals till the cheese is melted. Once it's melted, place in a crock pot to stay warm. Serve with chips. That's it, that easy!

Another quick recipe I just got from a good friend, Marie. Way too delicious to be this simple.

Needed:

A package of mini sausage cocktail wienie's

Uncooked Bacon

Brown Sugar

Toothpicks

Take the mini cocktail wienie's and wrap each one individually with a slice of bacon (you can cut the bacon in half if it's too long). Secure the bacon wrapped wienie with a toothpick. Place the wrapped toothpick wieinie in a crockpot. Do this with all of the wienies.

Once all of the wienies have been wrapped, and placed in the crock pot, add two cups of brown sugar and cook on high in the crockpot until the bacon is fully cooked. Once they are done, enjoy the sweet appetizer!
