Attention Deficit Writing Disorder

Linda Louise Johnson
Silly little sentences and funny kind of phrases

seem to take my writing through peculiar phases

One day I wax political, one day I can't stop laughing

Next I'm feeling spiritual, it must be really baffling

Poetry or prose, or just plain exposition

Facts or strictly fluff, can't make a decision

Vocabulary Vitamins, pet articles and how-to's

Crazy Auntie's Crafts, and where she hides her booze

Shaving cream on carpet, vinegar in the john

zip lock bags to scare the bugs, it goes on and on

I get one thing started, stop and write something new

I know I'm confusing me, am I confusing you?

Hey they say "variety is the spice of life". Keep them coming.

I understand it completely. If I actually wrote and published every idea I had, I would have all kinds of crazy things. I tend to change my mind about sharing things often, worrying that people will think I'm crazy. I should just throw it all out there. :) By the way, you might like an article by a new AC humor writer, Jill Reese, about writing with ADHD: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2999066/writing_with_adult_adhd.html?cat=7

It's been a while since I've been on site. This was a pleasant piece to read.

Can I come over & play? We'd NEVER stick to one topic or get any serious work done! This is so YOU, & that's why I say you have a kaleidoscopic mind, Lindy dear! So varied & colorful & changing, like swirling colors & shapes. All brilliant. ; )

My mind must work like yours, because I was able to follow you quite well. I do the same things. (Brilliant minds think alike, you know.)
