How to Block Your Cell Phone Number

There may be times that you don't want someone to know that you are calling from your cell phone and want to block the number. With landlines phones we all know how to do this and with cell phones it's no different. Just follow these simple steps below.

Step1:
If you want your cell phone number suppressed all the time, then call customer service (611) and tells them you want your number not to show up on anyone's caller I.D.

Step2:
If you want your number to show up when you place some calls then all you have to do is dial *82 before dialing the phone number. Your phone number will show up only for the one call.

Step3:
If you only need to block your number sometimes then just dial *67 before the number. This will block the one call only.

You need to be aware that whenever you are dialing *82 or *67 you will not get a beep like you do on a regular land line phone. You just continuing dialing your number after dialing *82 or *67.
