Introduction of the Casio EXILIM Card EX-S10

The Casio Company is well-known for manufacturing high quality electronics around the world. The introduction of the Casio EXILIM Card EX-S10 has really proven their credibility and efficiency. The device is equipped with a lot of functionalities, which includes 10 mega-pixels, 3x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD and many more. The device appears to be one of the thinnest in the global world of digital cameras. In my own opinion would say that the device is made for everybody because with $300 in your pocket, one can purchase the device. One interesting features found in this device is that it is equipped with an iTunes-compatible H.264 video.

The device is equipped with a dimension of 94.2x54.6x15.0 mm, which is quite slim.

The device is equipped with an LCD of 2.7 inch that has a 230,160 pixels, which is quite handy for a camera of it grade. A procurer could read information or detail found on the screen of the device even in direct sunlight situation. In order for a procurer to activate the menu of the device, he or she should press the middle knob on the navigator.

The manual of about 24 pages accompanies the device, which in my own opinion not detail enough to educate a neophyte photographer on how to use the device.

The S10 digital camera manufactured by the Casio Company is equipped with an auto mode instead of the commonly known mode dial. In this sense, mode dial is absence or not applicable in the Casio S10 digital camera.

A procurer would discover auto, portrait, scenery, self-portrait and many more in the scene modes.

The Casio Company has equipped the S10 digital camera with an efficient SD memory cards. This memory supports various format of memory, which includes a MMC, SD, SDHC and many more. A procurer would discover that the SD memory card is located at the bottom of the device, which is quite close to the battery.

The battery life is average in performance; this is because it has the capability to stay up to 190 minutes in continuous playback situation.

A procurer that is looking for a fast and quick digital camera would found the S10 handy to work with. This is because the startup time of the device takes approximately 1.5 second, which one would consider fast.

It has been noted that the time of the flash cycle is approximately 3.1 seconds.

At 5,114 KB/s is the average speed for downloading.

There is more to the Casio EXILIM Card EX-S10 performance that is not listed or mentioned in this review. Purchasing this device would give a neophyte photographer more insight to the performance of the S10 manufactured by the Casio Company.
