Everything around is red and green,
The food is plenty, and I'm not lean.
Trees are sparkling and glowing bright,
All the houses light up at night.
The food is plenty, and I'm not lean.
Trees are sparkling and glowing bright,
All the houses light up at night.
My children are anxious as they play,
They simply can't wait for the big day.
We make cookies with some chocolate chips,
The little one sneaks them to her lips.
We have wrapping, cards and bows,
When we finish, no one knows.
The ribbons are curled, the gifts are tied,
Some other gifts I just had to hide.
I need to get some rest tonight,
Lack of sleep makes me a fright.
Christmas is a day full of fun,
All that work, and now I'm done!
