My Experiences with Being Part of the AC Community

I first discovered Associated Content on February 22, 2010. I was unsure of joining this website for I was not sure if my writing style, and content would be accepted among others. I decided to give it a shot! At first I was uneasy about publishing my poetry, or even my more personal articles.

Then I signed into my page and found that I had a new fan. Jack Wellman. As most of you are familiar with his work and are fans of his as well, you know how much of an inspiration and mentor he is to most here on AC.

I was shocked at the fact that I could develop a relationship with a person whom I haven't even met in person, on such a spiritual level by just reading his writings and talking via email. This man is truly an inspiration and mentor to me. I have a very high respect and admiration for this man. Jack has taught me to believe in myself, in others, and especially in the lord.

I regret to say that I was not close with the lord for a long period of my life. When I began talking to Jack, telling him of past events-situations I have been through, he would reply with a verse from the bible. At first I wasn't sure if I could accept these responses for I didn't understand their true meanings. Over the last 2 months Jack has educated me on the power of believing in the lord, and in turn has set me free from my dark hole and into the bright light. I can honestly say that Jack Wellman's inspirational words, bible verses, articles, emails, etc.. have changed my view on life.

I am eternally grateful to this man. I would like to thank him the only way I know how , in the way of words.

A selfless man,
one of inspiration,
one of honor,
one of admiration,
one of a pure soul.

A True believer,
one of grace,
one of serenity,
one of powerful words,
one with the gift of soul.

A mentor,
A friend,
A Savior,
A man of humble demeanor.

Is the man I know as Jack Wellman.

Lord,

I have learned my dear friend has Jack has fallen ill within the last three days. I ask you to please guide him through this difficult time. His heart, mind, body, and soul are yours my dear lord, he is a believer, a lover, a friend, a son of yours dear lord. Allow him to arise from sickness into health so he can share his love for you among others, as he has done for me.

Amen.

In fact, I should go to the forums and nominate you as the Rising Star monthly awards. You are so deserving, in fact, I wll do this right now. I have to get up very, very early and could not sleep, when I ought to be, but maybe this is the very purpose for which I could not. To repay someone who has done so much & yes, continues even today to do so much for me and others in a selfless, giving way I can't even express.

My friend, you are too kind. I should say that it ought to be the reverse if anything. From the time I have came to know you, you have been caring, giving, helping, praying, assisting and just being such a god=send to me that I in no way deserve your graciousness to me. I can never repay what kindness you have shown. I thank you and I thank God FOR you Michelle, for there is no one here at AC that I have ever met that has been like you. Such a good and godly woman, Christian and blessed mother, I can never even put into words. but thank you. God bless you and yours and your household.
