Materials needed: These must be 2 sets. 1 set for each group
1, blouse and skirt
2. pair of shoes
3. lady's hat
4. scarf
5. eyeglasses
6. umbrella
7. shopping bag or any bags
Mechanics of the game:
Gather your participants ( ladies) into 2 groups of 5 in each group or 10 in each group depending upon how many players you have. You can play this in a gym, in an open field or in a room if it is wide. Let your participants form a line with 2-3 meters apart from each group. You must have a big area for movement. Put the materials in front of the line of each group. Let them wait for your signal to start. The first one on the line is the first to go. Remind them to put on the materials you have for them in the order of the list above. It means they have to put on the blouse and skirt first, then the shoes, etc. when they are done putting on everything, they will walk naturally, in about 5-8 meters straight ahead then go back.. It is best when you have a post at the end of the 5-8 meters for them to go around then back to their place in the line. You can use chair as post or a person standing, Each player will go around the post then back to the line. When they reach their place on the line, they will take off everything they used and stay at the back of the line. The next person on the line will do the same. This is a relay. The two groups will start together and they will compete of who will be able to finish ahead of the other, and he will be the winner. This will depend upon how fast they move and how graceful they are. The finish line is the point where they start. The first group to finish is the winner. You should remind your participants to be honest in playing this game. There are times when players cheat in order to win. No cheaters will be declared winners even if they finished first. The values of honesty must be cultivated in all competitive games.
Revision: this is for the men to play the same game,,,,,,,, John went to the farm
materials ( the same 2 sets, 1 set for each group)
1. Farm clothes/ it is fun when you have oversize pants and jackets
2. pair of shoes, boots or any other farm shoes will do
3. a big hat
4. a big box for farm goods or you can use basket or a sack
5. farm goods or any vegetables to put in the box.. you can use water melon, pumpkin or any goods
The same procedure above. Let them form a group with 5-8 members then do the same as instructed above. If your participants are kids. don't let them use belt for the over size pants. Let them hold it while they walk. This will make the game fun because they will take their box or sack with goods while holding their pants walking as fast as they could trying their best to reach the finish line ahead of the other group. Kids really love to play this game. They look very funny and the parents or the older folks will cheer and enjoy it.
