Here are some wine suggestions that will help to keep you from standing in the isles of stores with a blank lost look on your face.
While asking yourself if you need to spend more money to get a wine that tastes good? The answer to that question is a quick no.
I have a couple of wines that I am sure will impress the pickiest of guests.
There are those who have spent hours trying to depict subtle undertones and delicate flavors just under the obvious ones. Well I am not one of those folks.
I am way too busy to sip and swirl and I like to have a little something left over to buy food.
A good wine is like a good friend, once you have found it you never want to loose them and you try really hard to remember their name.
With this quick reference you can print it off, slip it in your bag and it will always be there for you.
The first one is my first love. This wine converted my husband into a wine lover.
Beringer White Zinfandel goes perfect with everything and everyone or to just relax all alone with. It is a California white wine and goes perfect served with fish, poultry or seafood.
It is not hard to find and ranges in price from 8.00-10.00 a bottle.

Now for the Italian beauty, Adesso Cagnina Di Romagna. This very special wine was suggested to me by a local store owner and described as a low alcohol slightly sweet red wine. And it is that but it is also so much more. The bottle is beautiful and romantic, even the cork is not an ordinary cork but a piece of art. That is a personal opinion of course.
It costs only 11.00-12.00 a bottle. And can be found very easily in local liquor stores. Unless you have a local resident who is so in love with it that they buy the last 13 bottles. That is exactly what happened this last Thanksgiving.
I have to say when you try this red wine also look for the white because it is just as special and it is called Baciani Albana di Romagna. These wines have a very interesting history and you can learn more about them at www.jgwines.com .
