" Medium": Season 7 Episode 6, " Where Were You When...?"

The episode starts off with an early memory of Allison being 3 years old watching Nixon- Watergate on television. As a toddler with medium abilities she felt paralyzed by the event. She contemplated what it would be like to be in a situation where she would completely lose control.Allison's flashes to a future vision where she is left feeling helpless and powerless to stop an upcoming catastrophic event.

In her waking world, there is news of earthquakes affecting Sedona Arizona. She is in the kitchen getting the girls ready to go off to school. She touches her oldest daughter's hand and through psychometric means receives a vision of an earthquake while she is sitting in school at 9:18am. She then turns to her youngest daughter and touches her to see visions of an earthquake occurring while she is in art class at 9:18am. She asks her youngest if there is art class today in school. He child responds, "No." Allison is relieved to know that she is not seeing a vision that will happen that day.

Allison is called down to morgue to help get a lead on human remains of a male hand with a birthmark. She instead touches the Lee slightly and see's in his vision a spilled coffee stain on his shirt and as he stands in the men's room cleaning the stain off of his shirt, an earthquake occurring at 9:18am. She snaps back into reality to check his shirt and is relieved to see no stain.

Earlier that evening, Allison's husband, Joe, is met by a neighbor to discuss strange graffiti on the garage door of the home foreclosed across the street. The neighbor complains about painting over the garage door to prevent hone property values from falling. Joe agrees to help watch over the house. When Joe enters the house he finds Allison on the floor anchoring picture frames and she asks him to help her stabilize the taller furniture to prepare for an oncoming earthquake. Joe tries to comfort her by telling her they already earthquake proofed the home. Joe offers for Allison to touch him so she can make more sense of her visions. She leans over to kiss him only to see a vision of Joe spray painting graffiti on the neighbor's garage. Shocked and slightly annoyed by her vision he insists that he would never do something like that.

That evening, she has a dream which gives her a clue on the identity of the hand. Her vision showed a man driving into a parking lot and taking a sledgehammer to a wall. The vision identified this man was in a federal building to have an appointment with Wolcott Construction.

The next day, Allison and Lee go to Federal Building to meet with the construction company owner, Wolcott. Wolcott ID's the man as Gavin Finch, city building inspector. Upon leaving the building and going through the parking structure, Allison touches the security guards hand. She sees a vision of a car bomb exploding in the building.

She meets with Lee and Devalos .She asks Devalos to touch his hand to get a vision of where he will be at 9:18am. She sees a newspaper clip with a headline of giving bad news about the stock market. She pieces together that the disaster she sees may not be an earthquake but the shock effect of an explosion to happen in the Federal building.

Later that evening she had restless sleep as she has a second vision about Finch's decapitated head being found in a night club dumpster. She awakes unsettled and disturbs her husband. They both hear the door open.
To their surprise they find their youngest daughter outside sleepwalking and spraying graffiti on the neighbor's garage. Joe promises to paint over the area before 9:18 am with white paint, still trying to negate Allison's vision. Allison returns to sleep and has another vision of Wolcott being the one who dumped Finch's decapitated head.

Allison and Lee return to Wolcott's office to ask him to search his belongings. Wolcott agrees to leave him in his office to search for evidence while he is in a staff meeting. Just as Wolcott and his secretary are about to exit the room, she drops her files. Allison reaches to help and accidentally touches her hand. She sees visions of the building exploding. She then immediately grabs Wolcott's hand and gets a vision of him being across the street detonating a bomb with his cell phone and watching the explosion.

That evening Allison has a dream explaining why Wolcott wants to blow up his own building. It is because Finch found out that he cut corners in constructing the building and found defects that would cause the building to crash down in an earthquake. Finch wanted them to turn themselves into the authorities. Wolcott decided to kill Finch and blow up the building so no one would know the truth.
