NFC Championship Predictions

I was one of the millions who thought Brett Farve was not only washed up, but doing his team a terrible disservice by hanging on for so long. But here he is, one game away from the Super Bowl for the third time in his career.

On the other side of things, Eli Manning, who nobody thought should be in this spot also is one game away from his first Super Bowl. This makes for a very intriguing match up, but I'll share with you my thoughts on who will win.

I would like to see Green Bay win for the simple fact that it will make for a better Super Bowl against New England. I think if there is a team that can beat the Patriots, it will be Green Bay if they do not make any mistakes.

They are playing on heart right now and Brett Farve after all these years keeps finding ways to win football games when they matter most. He, nor his team will give up if they get down early, and the fans will make it as hard as they can for New York to run their offense efficiently.

The game being played at Green Bay I don't believe will make too much difference as they are both cold weather teams. The fans will make it rough on New York yes, but as far as the team not being physically prepared for the cold, thats not going to happen.

Most likely San Diego will have a hard time in New England. But back to the topic, I don't think Eli Manning is good enough to win this game and more importantly, the team around him is not good enough either. Green Bay seems to be a team of destiny this season and Farve is the main reason for that. I think they will win the game and lose in a very close Super Bowl to New England.

My prediction: Green Bay 31, New York 17
