Norwich City Face Crystal Palace

James Kent
The Canaries face Crystal Palace in tonight's championship clash. Norwich will be in buoyant mood after their 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening. They managed to win despite playing with only 10 men throughout much of the game. This game tonight presents Norwich with an excellent opportunity to go level on points with the south Londoners. Such a result is likely to take the Canaries into mid-table.

Norwich go into the game with somewhat of a defensive crisis. Dejan Stefanovic is out for the season; Gary Doherty is suspended and Omozusi is likely to be injured. This all means that Adam Drury is likely to play at centre back, and John ostsemobor is certain to play at right back. The rest of the team has no such problems. Darrel Russell remains suspended but that is not deemed a major problem. Glenn Roeder is expected to name another team using 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 lineup. Lita will continue as the lone striker.

The team I expect to see is as follows:

Marshall

Ostsemobor

Kennedy

Drury

Bertrand

Croft

Pattison

Clinghan

Bell

Hoolahan

Lita

This will be another tough game for Norwich but one I expect them to win and two wins will be excellent preparation for the Derby. Despite all the problems scoring goals this season, playing one up front, might prove to be the answer. It will be another tough game, but Norwich will nick it by the odd goal.
