Norwich is Set to Take a Break from the League

James Kent
This weekend is the FA Cup third round and presents the opportunity for Norwich to get a morale boosting victory away from the league. It will be interesting to see what kind of team selection Roeder goes with for the game against Charlton. With numbers light the temptation will be to rest a couple of bodies. However, with league form so poor that is unlikely to happen.

The transfer window is now open, but Glenn Roeder hasn't been able to strengthen the team ahead of Saturday's game. However, Roeder has at least been able to secure the services of Ryan Bertrand and Elliott Omozusi for the reminder of the season. The futures of Sibierski and Lupoli remain under doubt. Koroma's loan spell has been cut short by a serious injury.

Meanwhile Leroy Lita has returned to Reading. This is despite Glenn Roeder making a cash offer to secure Lita until the end of the season. This all means that Glenn Roeder will not have many options for team selection for the game. One thing that Roeder has confirmed is he will name an attacking team with a 4-4-2 formation.
