What I Really Think About Donald Pennington's Interviews

An Expose on an AC Content Producer

mmog37
Once of the first content producer's I subscribed to was the Super Interviewer Donald Pennington. I discovered his whereabouts after reading a witty comment he left for another content producer. While checking out his profile his basic info caught my attention:

Your FREE subscription helps me to earn back my place as their Daddy. Will trade reviews/interviews for further exposure to http://www.donpennington.info . Thank you!!

As a father. I couldn't help but admire his motivation for writing and trying to become a top producer here at AC. I also admired the fact that his genuine offer was mutual benefit for both him and the interviewee. One thing I discovered after subscribing, is that Donald is one hard working guy.

I can't getting anything done without my email alerts constantly notifying me that "Donald Pennington has just been published on AC Content!" (thanks for making me feel bad Donald) Although he has nothing on Amy Brantley, who publishes so much that I suspect her to really be a cyborg humanoid conspiring to derail my progress by mass publishing articles with gourmet food and recipes that make me continually stop and take a food break, it's no wonder I can't get any writing done. (Maybe one of you can write an article on how to get gourmet brownie crumbs unstuck from your keyboard, I will be the first to read and comment )

All kidding aside, I must admit that I really enjoy what Donald is doing for content producers like myself. One thing I have discovered is that there is a lot of good stuff to read here at AC Content. I enjoy good reading, but I especially enjoying the kind of writing that reflects the writer's personality and individual style. By reading Donald's interviews of the content producer's, I not only get an ideal of what to expect from a content producer, but they also allow me to categorize content producers and to single out specific writers who I would love to keep up with and see what they have to say.

I remember reading about "The Lovely Shamontiel" (one of Donald's interviews), it lead me to another one of my favorite content producers. I recently discovered "Hearten Soul" after reading Donald's interview of her. In my opinion Donald's interviews help breathe life into the content. There are a lot of content producers here and i will be honest I think I probably would have overlooked some very good content producers, had I not read about them in Donald's interviews.

I always noticed that at the end of each interview, Donald would place a link for those who are interested in being interviewed and getting some free exposure, and to be honest I didn't think that I was ready for that yet, so when I received and email from Donald asking me to considered being interviewed I was a bit hesitant for a moment.

After thinking about it for a minute I decided why not. One of my goals with my writing is to try to blend some of my own personal experiences, hurts, joys, triumphs and pains in a way that engages the reader. I thought that maybe the interview with Donald would provide and sneak peek into the heart and mind of the person behind mmog37's writings.

I have to say that Donald's timing was impeccable as his request came on the tail end of me reading and commenting on an article by Dr Jamie, "6 Things You Can't Hide From" Answering Donald's questions was almost like looking in the mirror of the past.

All in all the entire process was fun, I was able to look back and see where i have come from, but I was also encouraged as I looked forward. I want to say thanks to Donald for thinking that people would be interested in hearing about someone like me. I especially want to thank him for asking me about my legacy. Answering that question has me refocused and re-energized and ready to go out and make a difference in the world. :)

Thanks again Donald, I look forward to reading more from you, and even more disruptions from the steady stream of published content notices. Hope that it all gets your spot back as Daddy! You deserve it!

  • Donald always seems to ask the right questions
  • Donald makes each interview seems as unique and intersting and the person being interviewed.
  • I have discovered some of my favorite content producers through Donald's interviews.
If you haven't done so already, you might want to consider being interviewed. It's fun and the extra page views are a nice bonus.
