Recipe: Pork Spareribs that Will Make Your Mouth Water

Drew Bush
Who said barbecued ribs can be eaten only during the summer? They are good for eating at anytime of the year and they really do make the barbecue. It is easy to prepare and they will make your mouth water. Our family makes them at least a few times a year. Here's what you'll need:

1 large (14" X 20") Reynolds Oven Cooking Bag
1/4 cup flower
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (18 oz. bottle)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 1/2 pounds pork spareribs (1 rack) trimmed

Steps:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Shake flour in oven bag. Place in 13X9X2 inch baking pan. Add barbecue sauce, onion, and green pepper. Squeeze the bag to blend the ingredients. Cut the ribs into serving size pieces, place the ribs in the bag, and turn the bag to coat the ribs. Arrange the ribs in an even layer. Close the bag with a nylon tie; cut six half inch slits in the top. Back for about one and one half hours or until tender. Makes: 4 to 6 servings.
