Review 5 Free IPhone Apps for Kids

There Are Many Great Apps for Kids Available for Free, Here Are Just a Few

My oldest son is 8 and my younger son is 4 and they both love playing games on the iPhone. They learned them very quickly and it keeps them entertained during long car rides or doctors appointments. The iPhone's ease of use makes it easy for my 4 year old to play. I do have to keep an eye on them so they don't call or text anyone, but so far there have been no problems with that.

Top Five Free iPhone Apps for Kids

1. Make Me a Superhero Lite. My kids are obsessed with all things super heroes. This app allows them to create their own superhero. They can select the gender, clothes, shoes, and accessories. It doesn't allow them to play with the character; it's more like virtual paper dolls.

2. LEGO Photo. This is really fun! Import an existing photo or take a new photo and make it look like it was made from LEGO bricks. Keep tapping the screen for different color combinations which changes the look of the lines and shapes. Save the photos and share as you would normally share photos on the phone.

3. Scribble Lite. This allows you to import an existing photo and manipulate it. Add a hat or mustache or erase part of the photo. My kids and I really like this one too.

4. Cows in Space. Free the cows in space by shooting balls around and popping the bubbles the cows are in. This one gets hard pretty fast, but my kids still love it. I even find myself playing this one while waiting in lines.

5. Traffic Rush. This is another one I find myself playing quite often. Cars are coming towards the intersection and you must speed them up or slow them down to allow them to pass safely. The better you do, the harder it gets. This is a quick, easy game that both of my boys love.

When I downloaded these they were all free, but some may have a charge now. Have fun playing a few new games!
