Just as a wave is lifted by the shore,
Then breaks across the slowly rising sand,
So as I watch you weep my feelings pour
Across the wash of what I understand.
I wish I could just take you in my arms
And all your pain could melt into my chest,
And all the violence of passing storms
Could pass through me and finally come to rest.
No words can set things right or presence lend
So I did complete it with this :
Just as a lighthouse on the shore,
which glows in the dark for the lost souls,
I see you there waiting for me
while I fight the loneliness of this sea.
I wish I could just melt in your arms
and find myself before I was lost forever,
And this darkness would get a blow,
your brightness would make me glow.
Everything with a beginning comes to an end,
so things must also be set right again.
