09/10 Upper Deck SP Game Used Edition Blaster Tin

Upper Deck SP Game Used Tin is a Great Holiday Gift Idea

Justin Hartley
First off, I'm not a big blaster grabber. (For those not knowledgeable of the word blaster, blaster is simply put any sports card purchase that isn't from an actual hobby box or case.) However, walking through a Wal-Mart this little tin caught my eye.

The tin promises 1 memorabilia or autograph card out of the three packs that come in it. Each pack has 5 cards. The tin itself cost $29.99. So I said what the heck, I'll give it a shot just to see since it was payday and fairly cheap for a fairly high end product.

1st Pack:

Carmelo Anthony #17, Baron Davis #10, Tim Duncan #94, Eric Gordon #36, Peja Stojakovic #73

Overall, not bad when you get a future Hall of Famer and one of the best players in the league, not to mention a certifiable up and comer in Gordon.

2nd Pack:

T.J. Ford #91, Al Horford #2, Lamar Odom/Kobe Bryant Combo Materials Swatch card Serial Numbered 461/499, Marc Gasol #62 and Shawn Marion #88.

Anytime you get a dual jersey card you are happy. Anytime Kobe Bryant is one of the duals you are really happy. Beckett lists the card at $20.

3rd Pack:

David West #26, Carlos Boozer #16, Michael Jordan Legacy from 08-09 UD #847, Kevin Martin #53 and Beno Udrih #13.

Interesting how I get a Jordan from last year but then again, it's a Jordan so I won't complain. Ever.

According to Beckett the cards I received from the tin were worth $53, give or take about ten depending on what happens later this year and whether I accidentally scuff one or two of them.

I recommend this tin as something like a Christmas present. I personally enjoyed opening it and finding the Jordan and the Bryant/Odom duo swatch.
