1 John Chapter Five vs: 13-21

"13^(V)These things I have written to you who ^(W)believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have ^(X)eternal life. 14This is ^(Y)the confidence which we have before Him, that, ^(Z)if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, ^(AA)we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 16If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, ^(AB)he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death ^(AC)There is a sin leading to death; ^(AD)I do not say that he should make request for this. 17^(AE)All unrighteousness is sin, and ^(AF)there is a sin not leading to death. 18^(AG)We know that ^(AH)no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God ^(AI)keeps him, and ^(AJ)the evil one does not ^(AK)touch him. 19^(AL)We know that ^(AM)we are of God, and that ^(AN)the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20And ^(AO)we know that ^(AP)the Son of God has come, and has ^(AQ)given us understanding so that we may know ^(AR)Him who is true; and we ^(AS)are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ ^(AT)This is the true God and ^(AU)eternal life. 21^(AV)Little children, guard yourselves from ^(AW)idols." "Alright here is the paragraph so far: Jesus Christ is God and has manifested the truth making our joy complete with the incarnate word. We are wicked, and we need Christ, otherwise God is a liar, so be honest following and trusting Jesus Christ who is the light, the savior, and the righteous one because those in darkness deceive themselves. Focus on Jesus walking in the light while loving your God and your brother because God loved us first by giving us His advocate, Jesus Christ, whenever we stumble... Love God and not the world because this world is soon to pass away; it is in its last hour, and the antichrist will soon be here. God has made for us eternal life, and we must continue to abide in Him so that we may have confidence when we see Him and not shrink away in shame. We are separated from the world at our rebirth in Christ given a different mindset, and we must love our brother; the world will hate us, but soon the world's goods and ideas will pass with the devil while God will be with His children in the end. Stay sharp and test all spirits, for if they do not confess the truth and Jesus Christ as God then they are from the spirit of the antichrist/error. There is no fear for those who abide in God, for there need only be perfect love which involves God loving us first, and us accepting Jesus Christ as the one true God of our lives. Faith in God, Jesus Christ, will help us overcome this world in the end allowing for a true victory. The next study will continue the examination of 1^st John and end off the entire book. God bless." This is the final day of the study. I would like to conclude this book of 1 John in this study. I will reverberate why these things were written. Then there will be discussion on the result of why we need to know these things that were written. This section is to bring it home also. Then I will wrap things up. So, for what reason were these things written?

These things were written so that we may know what we have. We are to believe that Jesus Christ is God, the Christ, and the Savior. There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus. He is God. Through Him, we shall receive eternal life, for through one man sin entered the world, and through one man it shall leave this world. It is all to happen through Christ to end this nightmare. Christ is when we are woken up by the Holy Spirit and able to finally see that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves because in spite of ourselves, God has a love and a purpose for us. His purpose begins with our salvation and change of direction. Through Christ we also have supernatural resources to ask for specific things that we will receive. These things we can ask for in full confidence.

Having confidence that what we ask according to His will shall be granted to us, we may ask whatever we want. We must first come to realization, repent, and ask for salvation through Christ away from our own sinful nature. In this, we must seek God first, and seek out to glorify God in all that we do. We are able to ask for God's help and wisdom also. We can ask for life, and not just our own, but for those who have no life. We should also ask for direction in our life always seeking God's will. Those things we ask in accordance with God's will are from God, and He will grant those things because God's will is going to always be accomplished. This is why we need to understand who Christ is. He is not just our savior, but He is our supernatural ability and resource to accomplish God's will. Glory to God because He is worthy to be praised, and He loves us all.

It is true that He loves us all, and bringing glory to God can only be good for those who love God. Let me become a little personal here. I was a sinner. My work is like filthy rags. Christ makes me come to the end of myself, and daily I must die to myself and live unto God. He is my salvation, and even though I want to love God, it is not by my own power that I seek God. No man will seek God on his own. God has to groom me and bring me to Him. I don't write these words as a self righteous scribe. I do not judge anyone with my words. It is God that judges with His word. I simply show the word of God so that many others will come to Christ. I don't want people to turn to Christ in fear of the consequences. I want people to understand that I was a blind man once who was lost in my sin. It was God's love that brought to the end of me. There was nothing I did on my own. I still to this day sin and make mistakes, but God has taken my tiny bit of faith that He gave me and grew it up like a mustard seed. Each on of us is a Nazareth. Nothing good comes from us. However, when God touches our lives, something good will come from us.

I used to be many things. I was suicidal. I have made many of mistakes. Even after knowing who God is and was I still backslid and stumbled. Fortunately, God had shown me the truth. When I stumbled, God reached out His hand asking for His child to get back to His feet. God did not condemn me for stumbling. He helped me press on and get past myself. God loves me in spite of myself, and He could just as easily find another person to carry out His will, but He chose me. Who am I but another man like all of you? The words I Am seem to best describe God. We are right now, we never were at the beginning, and we will not be in the end. However, God was, is, and will always be. Those who choose God will also be. So the old flesh of me will die and not be, but my spirit will be with God and my new body will be a gift from God that is sinless and better. I would make this section into a sentence by saying "Know these things so that we may realize who Christ is, and how to receive eternal life; in this knowledge, seek out God's will and ask in full confidence for those things in accordance with His will in the hope of giving God glory, for Christ is worthy to receive His due glory."

How should I conclude? There is no way I can think to conclude except to say for us all to be ready. The time is coming where we will need to be on guard. Jesus is Lord God. He is the Christ.
