1 John Chapter Two vs: 25-29

"25(BK)This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. 26These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to (BL)deceive you. 27As for you, the (BM)anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing (BN)teaches you about all things, and is (BO)true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. 28Now, (BP)little children, abide in Him, so that when He (BQ)appears, we may have (BR)confidence and (BS)not shrink away from Him in shame at His (BT)coming. 29If you know that (BU)He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness (BV)is born of Him." (Quoted from http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=69&chapter=2&version=49)

"Alright here is the paragraph so far: Jesus Christ is God and has manifested the truth making our joy complete with the incarnate word. We are wicked, and we need Christ, otherwise God is a liar, so be honest following and trusting Jesus Christ who is the light, the savior, and the righteous one because those in darkness deceive themselves. Focus on Jesus walking in the light while loving your God and your brother because God loved us first by giving us His advocate, Jesus Christ, whenever we stumble... Love God and not the world because this world is soon to pass away; it is in its last hour, and the antichrist will soon be here. The next study will continue the examination of 1st John. God bless." (Recap from earlier studies...)

This section is very simple and to the point just like the others. Basically, it is saying that eternal life was promised to us. Many will try to deceive us and tell us lies, but when we have accepted Christ, the anointing from Him abides in us. We are secure, blessed, and taught by this anointing. We know the truth. Practicing righteousness is a sign of those who abide in Him. Because of Christ, we may have confidence and not shrink away in shame. We must continually abide in Christ. There is not much else to look at because this is the hope that we have. It is the rest that we seek after a hard life.

If we sum up everything, what does this come to saying? What is eternal life? There are a lot of question that can be asked, but many things are beyond explanation. All I can say is that eternal life is something better than anything we have seen, and it is worth every second of persecution and much more things that we face on earth for our testimony. We must not be ashamed of Christ so that He is not ashamed of us. This section summed up into one sentence. "God has made for us eternal life, and we must continue to abide in Him so that we may have confidence when we see Him and not shrink away in shame."

Alright here is the paragraph so far: Jesus Christ is God and has manifested the truth making our joy complete with the incarnate word. God has made for us eternal life, and we must continue to abide in Him so that we may have confidence when we see Him and not shrink away in shame. The next study will continue the examination of 1st John. God bless.
