The first and most frustrating thing with the iPad is the lack of support for flash. It would be very wise and useful for there to be a flash app available for the iPad to improve the web experience.
Another issue is that I can't type my articles in AssociatedContent from an iPad. There needs to be an ap that allows me to be able to type into sites like that.
It would be great to have a more in depth ap to handle video on the web. As it stands, the youtube ipad app works well with youtube, but it does not help with other video sites.
The iPad does not handle multitasking well at all. In fact, the only app that seems to be able to work in the background is the iPod app for playing music stored on the iPad. I usually use the Pandora app for music, but I can't use anything else on my iPad whilst using that app. An app for multitasking the iPad would be a quantum leap forward.
There are certain features of the Yahoo Messenger program that do not function in the iPad version. It would be a great idea to enable the remainder of the features such as being able to receive video conferencing with an iPad app.
There really needs be an iPad version of the FireFox web browser. The Safari browser app included with the iPad does not feature the add on ability that FireFox has.
If there isn't going to be FireFox available, there should be an ad blocker app for the iPad that will integrate with Safari.
This one is from a personal desire, but since the video library at SouthParkStudios.com, which includes the entire library of South Park episodes is not viewable due to the aforementioned flash deficiency, there should be an iPad app available to watch South Park. Hopefully someone at Comedy Central is reading this.
OK, this one is purely fanciful, but it would be the most awesome iPad app ever. That would be one that could turn the iPad into a matter transport device. This app could be developed in conjunction with Google. Pinpoint a spot on the Google maps iPad app, select go, and poof! You're there. Yeah, I have been watching way too many science fiction movies, but got to dream big. Once upon a time going to the moon was science fiction.
This is something that Apple seems to have trouble with when it comes to the iPhones. However, they could develop an app that gives the iPad telephone communication abilities via WiFi and a bluetooth headset.
