The writer of this article is a moron! It's as if knowing nothing about kosher, she/he just googled in "kosher" and "san francisco" and just made the rest up. This article is so off.

Erin, where did you get this list? It's full of errors. There aren't 10 kosher restaurants in SF.
    - None of the Max Restaurants are kosher or even kosher style. They serve deli style meats, but none kosher. They also serve shellfish and pork producdts.
    - Kung Pao Kosher Comedy is a comedy night that takes place around Christmas, at a Chinese restaurant. I don't know about whether the comedy is kosher, but for sure the restaurant isn't.
    - Taj Mahal isn't kosher, never has been. They serve shrimp...
    - House of Bagels is not kosher. They call themselves kosher style. Not the same thing for someone who keeps kosher. They do carry a lot of kosher packaged goods.

Better places to recommend, though not in SF proper, are Amba, Grand Bakery and Holyland, all in Oakland; The Kitchen Table, in Mountain View; Izzy's Brooklyn Bagels (and pizza), in Palo Alto.
