Steak or seafood delivery. Steak and seafood from the local grocery store is one thing, but having top name national brands delivered to your front door is quite another. The big names like Omaha Steaks, Maine Lobster Direct, and Maryland Crabcakes are far more expensive than the grocery store, but oh so worth it!
Fruit or dessert of the month club. With these gifts Mom gets a treat delivered each month. Which would your mother would prefer: fresh, healthy, exotic fruits or rich, decadent, gooey desserts? Either way, she'll be happy to have a Mother's Day present that lasts all year.
Expensive ingredients. Most moms who love to eat love to cook. Do you realize how pricey some of those special ingredients are? For example, saffron is selling for over $72 an ounce right now, and a #10 can of almond paste is $24. Giving Mom some fancy (expensive) ingredients is a great Mother's Day gift.
Cooking or cake decorating lessons. If your mom's a true foodie she probably doesn't need basic cooking lessons, but she might enjoy a one time class at a culinary arts institute or a fun series through continuing ed. There are all kinds of food-related classes out there. Some focus on foreign or regional cuisines, while others focus on one thing like cake decorating or cheese making.
Accessories for the kitchen. Kitchen and cooking accessories come in all different sizes and price ranges. On the high-end there are grills and convection ovens, and on the low-end there are spatulas and kitchen towels. Mid-range items include quesadilla makers, mixers, and popcorn machines. There are so many options out there, all one needs to do is walk around the kitchen section of a department store and the items jump out at you.
Accessories for the table. Foodie moms put on a heck of a spread, and it always looks as exquisite as it tastes. Great Mother's Day gifts for the table include a tablecloth, serving platter, or decanter set. Other nice Mother's Day gift ideas are place settings, salt and pepper shakers, and cloth napkins with or without napkin rings.
Dinner out. Sometimes the best Mother's Day gift for a food lover is a dinner at a restaurant. It could be her favorite restaurant, or one she's been wanting to try but thought was too expensive. Statistically, Mother's Day is the busiest day of the year for restaurants, so if your mother doesn't like a long wait and a crowd make plans to go the day before or after Mother's Day. (Or give her a gift certificate for a restaurant.)
Cookbooks or magazines. Foodies love to try new recipes, so cookbooks or food magazines make great Mother's Day gift ideas. Not only can Mom spend time looking through them, she can also enjoy making, eating, and sharing the new recipes!
Books about food (that are not cookbooks). If your mom loves to read and loves to eat, give her a book that has a food-related theme. Eat, Pray, Love and Julie and Julia are two popular "food books". There are also biographies of well-known chefs, as well as non-cookbooks by food celebs like Paula Deen, Anthony Bourdain, and Gordon Ramsey.
Food gift basket. Customize your Mother's Day gift by putting all her favorite foods in a basket. For example, if your mom's a cheese lover fill a basket with several types of cheeses, crackers, and mustards. You can make a basket filled with specialty chips, nuts, or sweets- whatever your mom likes best!
If your mom's a food lover, there are tons of great gift ideas for Mother's Day.

Great gift ideas...thanks!
Unusual and helpful food ideas for Mother's Day. By the way, I must express my apologies for being scarce. You all may know we had a flooding situation in Nashville. My e-mail went bye-bye and had to wait for ATT to fix.
My mom would be happy if I gave her money towards her weight watcher's dues
Great ideas, especially the expensive ingredients. That's a very nice touch!
You have some really great ideas. Hope I get one or two of them, myself.
