Turquoise blue is a beautiful color for a spring wedding. The dress(1) seen here is floor length with lace stitching on the bodice that extends down past the hips forming a sword-like point. the bottom of the dress forms a "tail" instead of a train which is perfect for the first wedding dance at the reception. Created by Badgley Mischka, this dress is available through their boutique in New York City.
Silvery gray is another great color for a non-traditional wedding dress and this one(2) has bridal lines to it that make it so appealing. Created by Oscar de la Renta, large flowers in a deeper shade of gray don the fabric used here. Either pearl or diamond jewelry can be used for the wedding. Add some white flowers like carnations in your hair for the ceremony. Available through Oscar de la Renta's boutique in New York City.

Available from Ann Taylor(3) for only $199.00.
A wedding dress in a neutral shade with a bit of gold sounds just like something Ralph Lauren would design, and he did. The purple dress here is the color of a lilac in full blossom. There is a beautiful ruffle running down the center of the bodice on this strapless dress. Even though this is advertised as a party dress, this can definitely be worn by a bride who loves purple and something sweet. The black fabric band at the waist has a bow in the back. For jewelry, try emeralds or sapphires. Designed by Kay Unger for Phoebe Couture, this dress is available from Saks Fifth Avenue(8) for $270.00.
