For decades? people have simply ordered pizza and other menu items delivered because they are "just too tired to cook!" or there are NO groceries in the house! Unfortunately, the one thing they just don't realize? Is the fact that they always have the right to use any coupon(s) while ordering over the phone and even online?
This simple ordering process is NOT that complicated once you learn all the "secrets?" Reluctantly over the years, -----most pizza consumers have never actually taken the time to study and learn----- these very simple procedures for ordering pizza and other menu delivery items, which can be helpful and also cut-down ordering time and even save costly money in the process.
Here are some of the TOP 10 best ways for ordering pizza over the phone or the Internet:
1. Have a basic idea of what you want to order before calling. Be prepared in the beginning for certain questions like? Will this be for carryout or delivery? Could I please have your telephone number as asked by the CSR? (Please Note: your phone number is your actual account number for future and past transactions).
2. After you have settled your delivery or carryout information with the CSR (customer service representative) you are now ready to place your order. One of the number one mistakes that ALL customers seem to make is? "They never ask the CSR by phone and also the in-store personnel what the specials are for that particular date and time?" Immediately ask what the specials are after providing your personal information.
3. This simple problem can ironically grow into a "huge problem" especially if you are ordering a lot of food? The reason why?----- The computer has what they call "meal deals" over the phone and even online websites------Without using these specials from the very beginning, the CSR will have to start all over again for you to receive your discount(s).
4. Please also remember: Once you place a credit card purchase. Your credit card purchase will have to be voided by the store manager and you will possibly have to start all over again regarding your food order if you are "Not completely satisfied with the price". Listen very carefully to the price quoted and even ask what the price was before giving your credit card numbers?
5. Most of these stores have NEW customer service representatives daily. In other words? These employees are still learning the computers often times in a very fast paced environment because of the payroll deficit problem. If at all possible? Try to bear with these new employees and don't be "rude". If need too? Ask to speak to the manager on duty?
6. Always remember? The store manager on duty at the time? Always has the right to change the price to meet your satisfaction regarding your order. The CSR may have over-looked a special coupon(s), which could have been inserted into the computer price from the very beginning of your order.
7. And always try to be "Nice to these hardworking long hours employee managers?" If they are really busy at the time, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, they may even give you up to a 50% discount just to meet your customer satisfaction and possibly get rid of you, because they are so busy at the time? However, they will also be aware of how much of a tip you leave for the delivery driver(s) and the fact that duty managers seem to always remember your "attitude of purchase in the future".
8. Busy times like Friday and Saturday nights can be confusing for the customer and even the CSR? Order your food online and receive the "fastest results" simply because your order goes straight to the cook!" Be sure to check your email confirmation of your order. Most franchises will allow you up to (15) minutes to call by phone and change your order. DO NOT wait until the last minute upon delivery. (This problem makes things extremely complicated for everyone).
9. Always have your credit card ready when ordering pizza and other menu items by phone and even online. Drivers have NO way of carrying these mechanical instruments or computer based tools. Often times NEW CSR employees will forget to ask you if this will be "Cash or Credit Card payment?" (Pizza Hut no longer accepts checks). Unfortunately, you will have to call in these numbers to the store location, which can be both time consuming and frustrating to the driver and customer.
10. Read your coupon carefully before ordering, it may be out of date? Some of these gigantic pizza franchises go strictly by codes, especially Papa John's delivery restaurants. Their computers will also tell you the date of expiration. This problem creates a lot of confusion for customers and new CSR employees, thus leading into a dispute of original purchase.
Please Note: Restaurant pizza delivery managers are well trained in "Trickery and fraudulent customers!"---- You could possibly be placed on a "Carryout only customer!"----- regarding your life-long account and never receive any deliveries for this particular address or phone number account at anytime in the near future if any kind of fraud is suspected by on-staff duty managers.
Rule of thumb purchase and synopsis of this article: Always ask what the specials are for the day? Over the phone with the CSR's and vigorously search the Internet websites for coupons? Search for specials and coupons over their websites before ordering. Some websites seem to be slow at times. However, be patient! Believe it or NOT! These websites are computing what you actually are searching for!
