10 Creative Date Ideas

Eric Torres
1. Horseback Riding - Have fun outside with animals. This is something most people don't get to do very often so your date is sure to appreciate the unique experience.

2. Cooking Class - A great way to work together and learn something new. Trying out the new skills you learned together at home will provide a great premise for the next date!

3. Dance Class - Show off your skills or pick up some new ones. Even if you and/or your date don't know the first thing about dancing, a class is the best place to learn. If it's a reoccurring class, then you'll have an easy excuse to see each other each week. If it's a one time class, ask your date to practice later on to keep your new moves honed.

4. Fishing - Pick a beautiful spot to bond and have fun. If your date doesn't know how to fish, perhaps you can teach them. If neither of you know, you could learn together. Show off your preparation skills by packing a meal for you to share.

5. Day at the Lake - Feed the ducks, rent a paddle boat, or prepare a picnic! If nothing else, just walk around, chat, and enjoy the scenery!

6. Comedy Club - Make sure that the comics are of an acceptable maturity for you and your date. You don't want your date to get embarrassed or offended. When your date thinks back on the evening, they'll think of you
and all the laughs you shared.

7. Sporting Event - Take your date to a local college or professional team game. A sport that you both in enjoy is preferred. However, even if your date doesn't know anything about it, you can teach them. Besides, the atmosphere and cheering are sure to be fun no matter what!

8. Ice / Roller Skating - Even if you aren't the best skater, falling down and getting back up will show your date your humility and provide a good laugh. Like always, teaching or learning together is always a good date experience if one or both of you isn't an expert.

9. Bowling - Most bowling alleys have nights on the weekends when they turn the lights down, play music, and provide a light show or glow in the dark experience. Bowling is an inexpensive way to have fun and chat in a relaxed environment.

10. Concert / Play - Buy tickets to a big name show or even a local one. Concerts can be a lot of fun, but make sure your date is accepting of the music genre and the concert atmosphere.
