1) Bag of Jelly Beans
A large clear garbage bag or plastic wrap and balloons, are all that is needed to make a Bag of Jelly Beans costume. Start by blowing up some balloons, then dressing child in bright colors, next tape balloons to child, and finish by covering balloons with plastic wrap or a clear garbage bag.
2) Mummy
Simply dress child in white and secure pieces of gauze to the child's clothes with safety pins and the result is a fairly instantly made mummy costume.
3) Scarecrow
Dress the child in some worn play clothes, such as jeans, hiking boots, and a long sleeve shirt. Any type of hat can be worn by the child, inexpensive straw hats can be found at craft stores. Then stuff straw or grass into the child's pant legs, ends of the sleeves and under their hat. Finally the child could also carry any gardening tool with a long handle, to take to place of a scarecrows pitchfork.
4) Doctor or Lawyer
Dress the child in their church or other nice clothes. Let them wear one of their parents dress jackets or other items out of their parents closet to make them feel grown up and professional. All that is need to add to this costume is some kind of prop. This prop can be anything from a briefcase, to a file folder, or clipboard.
5) Snowman
Dress the child in all white. Then simple add some pillow stuffing or cotton to simulate snow, this can be done with a hot glue gun or fabric tack. Finally adding an old hat and a broom to the outfit, this will result in a perfect and warm snowman costume.
