First things first. You will need to take control of your body and health. Start taking a multivitamin to ensure that you are getting all of the essential vitamins to help your body function properly. This will also have a positive effect on your skin, nails, and hair. You will need to do thirty minutes of cardio in the morning and thirty more in the evening. This will allow you to tone up and lose a few pounds rapidly. Adding strength training will give you noticable results of firming in just a few short weeks.
Lemon juice is your friend. Lemon juice heals acne, fades age spots on your hands, and heals cracked heels. Applying some juice on a cotton ball before bed each night will yield great results. This will also be followed up with applying good lotion head to toe nightly to make your skin plump up and look young again. If you have split ends, rubbing a little conditioner on them before you go to sleep will make a big difference.
Whiten your smile. White Strips are an inexpensive way to literally take years off of your appearance. If these are too costly, you can always make your own with aluminum foil and a mixture of baking soda and peroxide. They will take longer, and your will look hilarious, but they work.
Revive your hair. If you color looks faded or you have some gray you would like to cover, look to semi permanent hair color. They will give your color a little boost and even it out without all of the harsh effects of permanent dye. You can also use a deep conditioner 3 times a week to restore shine.
Pay attention to the little things. Getting a basic manicure once a month makes it easier to maintain you nails the rest of the time. These will usually only run you about twelve dollars. Another wonderful and inexpensive salon service is eyebrow waxing. Having your eyebrows shaped will make you look cleaner, and more polished. Shaped brows frame your face and accentuate your features. This usually costs about eight dollars and is worth much more in impact.
If you cannot afford a brand new wardrobe, start with a new ( or gently used) pair of dark wash jeans. These are flattering and will "take" pounds off instantly. Get yourself two new tops to mix and match and then head to the accessories. Cheap big sunglasses, a new inexpensive bag, and a cute pair of flats will make you look more chic.
If you get a little creative and hit up your kitchen and a few good consignment shops, you will be headed toward a better you in no time! Good luck!
