Here are 10 fun ways that you can burn 100 calories. Most of us can work these into our daily routine.
1. Jumping rope. Remember how fun it used to be to jump rope? It will only take 10 minutes to burn the 100 calories. Of course being younger it didn't seem like a chore, doing it when your older you don't realize how much work this can be. But it's still kind of fun and if you say the chants you used to say when you were a kid jumping rope it will be fun again.
2. Running is a great way to burn calories, if you run 5MPH for 10 minutes you got your goal reached.
3. Jogging is easier than running for some people but you will have to do it for 10-15 minutes instead of the 5 minutes to get the same goal.
4. If you like to walk you can walk a mile or fast walk for 20 minutes. If you grab your IPod time will go by faster.
5. Take the kids skating and after 20 minutes of skating you will be working on your next 100 calories. Yup, that's all it takes to burn the 100 calories only 20 minutes.
6. How about playing tag or hide and seek for about 20 minutes. This game is fun no matter what age and you will be running and burning the calories.
7. Grab a kite or a Frisbee and head to the park. 30 minutes of either of these activities and you will reach the goal.
8. If you only have 20 minutes, play soccer, kickball or shoot some hoops with your kids.
9. If you would rather work in your flowerbed or your garden 20 minutes will burn those calories and you are well on your way of getting into shape.
10. Take your kids and head to the pool - 30 minutes of racing them and swimming laps will get the calories burnt.
