1. Make A Lunch Date
If you are lucky enough to find a spare half hour on your lunch break, join the many others across the country who find their lunch hours to be the perfect time to build exercise into their day. You´ll not only keep your evenings free, but you will give yourself a chance work off some of your work related stress. You´ll head back to the office with a clear head and extra energy to attack the rest of the day.

2. End the Work Day
Head to the gym after work. If you make it part of your routine, you are more likely to stick to your exercise plan. A half hour at the gym on your way home from work can be a great way to make sure you are meeting your fitness goals without giving up much of your free time.

3. Get Social
You can meet to of your goals at once when you get together with friends for a walk or a jog. Remember when you used to have the luxury of time and were able to spare a half an hour to chat with a friend? Reclaim that pleasure by chatting as you work out together. Working out with a friend has the added bonus of making you more likely to stick to your exercise commitment.

4. Go Back to School
Some people need a very structured environment to maintain their physical fitness. If you fall into this category consider an exercise class. With a teacher to keep you in line, you´ll be sure to succeed.

5. Rise and Shine
If you feel as though you have absolutely no time to spare for exercising, perhaps you could build it into your day by getting up just an hour earlier in the morning. A brisk morning walk or jog is a great way to start the day and will not interfere with your plans once your day is underway.

6. Tune In
Jump on a treadmill or stationary bike that you have positioned in front of a television. Sweat it out while you are absorbed in your favorite shows and maybe you´ll forget you are even working out!

7. Get Adventurous
Start a new hobby that will double as a way to exercise. Mountain biking, hiking, and rollerblading are reasonable options that don´t necessarily require significant financial investments.

8. Try a Sport
Remember how much fun it was when you played on the softball team? Perhaps you have never played but have always meant to. Now is the time! You´ll get exercise, make friends and generally have a great time.

9. Jump In
For a refreshing change in your exercise routine, try swimming. Many local high schools offer open swim times for a small fee.

10. Be a Multi-Tasker
If the thought of even fifteen minutes of spare time seems impossible, consider all the little ways you might build some physical activity into your day. Leave your car parked at home and walk or bike to your destination. When that is not feasible look for other opportunities. Skip the elevator and take the stairs instead. Let someone else enjoy that front row parking space and look for one further from the entrance. Pick up the pace as you walk from aisle to aisle at the grocery store or in the mall. Opportunities for physical fitness are hiding everywhere.

Whatever form your exercise takes, don´t become lax in your commitment to physical fitness. Stay at it and be healthy!
