The B.B.C. Cafe-
This little cafe in Beverly Hills is one that you will definitely want to try. Completely Kosher, they are open for service from 7am until 10pm Sunday-Thursday, closing at 3pm on Fridays for Shabbat. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner this kosher restaurant offers a delicious array of sandwiches, soups, salads, and more with savory influences from the cuisine and flavors or Morocco, Spain, and France. The B.B.C. Cafe has a very friendly atmosphere for casual dining and offers lower prices; however, it is not just the great kosher food that sets the B.B.C. Cafe apart from the rest. Located on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, the Malibu Beach Grill offers you healthy and great tasting burgers, tacos, salads, and tasty wraps that are all 100% kosher. With a fun and casual beach atmosphere and very low prices, this is one kosher restaurant you will want to keep in mind when you want to grab a quick bite at the beach. They are open Sunday-Thursday 7am-11pm, closing at sunset on Fridays.
Shanghai Diamond Garden-
This is a great choice in kosher restaurants when you are seeking excellent Chinese food. When you want the atmosphere of a more sophisticated restaurant while still enjoying casual dress then this is a great choice. Located on West Pico Boulevard, Shanghai Diamond Garden servers lunch and dinner daily, Sunday - Thursday from 11am to 10 pm and On Fridays they close hours before the beginning of Shabbat, re-opening 1 hour after Shabbat ends on Saturday and remaining open until 11 pm. Reasonably priced with most dinners falling in the $20 range, they offer a range of traditional Chinese entrees, soups, appetizers, and they are rabbinically supervised and are glatt kosher. And if you can not make it into the restaurant and happen to be in a couple of miles of their location you can still enjoy their great food with their delivery service, so be sure to give them a try.
Fish Grill-
This casual, laid back kosher restaurant with a bit of nautical feel is a great find on Wilshire Boulevard. Their menu offers great choices in pastas, salads, deep fried fish n' chips, sandwiches, and even fish tacos; however, they perhaps most well known for their mesquite grilled specialties such as Salmon Fillets, White Fish, and Red Snapper. Their hours are from 11 am until 9pm Sunday - Thursday, and from 11am until 2:30pm on Fridays and they also have two other great locations on Pico Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard. Bocca Steakhouse-
If you prefer a more formal dining experience you will not want to miss the Bocca steakhouse on Ventura Boulevard in Encino. Of course their appetizers and salads are just the beginning. Bocca steakhouse has first rate steaks, pasta and seafood but if you want to be sure to get a good table, reservations are recommended. Milk-N-Honey-
If you are looking for savory Italian dining from a kosher restaurant then visit Milk N Honey on West Pico Boulevard. This great little kosher restaurant is very laid back with a touch of class. Offering great tasting sandwiches and salads along with traditional Italian dishes such as pizza, calzones, fettuccini, and a one of kind tuna lasagna. Their lunch hours, Sunday - Thursday are 11:30 am until 2:30 pm with dinner served from 5pm until 9:45pm. They are closed on Fridays and re-open one hour after Shabbat as do many kosher restaurants.
Shilo's-
No kosher dining experience in L.A. would be complete without a visit to Shilo's Modern Steak House. The fine dining of Shilo's has been enjoyed by dignitaries, celebrities, and rabbis alike. This charming, classy atmosphere is made complete by an excellent wine list, steaks cooked to perfection, and carefully prepared cuisine with a touch of European style. Reservations are required for dining at Shilo's and they are open from 11:30am until 10:30pm, Sunday-Thursday and from 11:30am until 2:30pm on Fridays. Medium priced, this kosher restaurant is open Sunday-Thursday from 7am to 11pm, closing one hour before Shabbat on Fridays.
A Cow Jumped Over the Moon-
For a very chic and modern experience in casual dining, this cleverly named kosher restaurant, located on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, is a dairy lovers dream. Offering French cuisine at medium ranged prices, they are opened Sunday-Thursday from 9am-9pm, and from 9am-3pm on Fridays.
Pico Cafe-
Searching for great breakfast from a kosher restaurant then look no further than the Pico Cafe. Located on West Pico Boulevard, this casual dining dairy cafe serves delectable pastries and breakfast including Shakshooka and Crepes in a diner type atmosphere. Open from 8am-4pm Sundays and from 7am-12am Monday-Thursday. On Fridays they open at 7am, close at 3pm then reopen on Saturdays, one hour after Shabbat and remain open until 3 am.
