1. Fruit
Self-explanatory and delicious.
2. French Fries (or Potato Chips)
A great indulgence at restaurants that aren't quite vegan-friendly.
3. Vegan Brownies
Sure, most of them taste like chocolate sponges, but try this recipe (or its variations) and you will never look back, I promise.
4. Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce
Check the ingredients, but many standard marinara sauces are vegan. Throw in some chopped veggies or soy sausage crumble if you have time.
5. Silk Soy Milk
You can shop around and even make your own soy milk -- actually, I recommend it. However, few soy milks compare to the Silk brand for sheer milky snacking satisfaction. Plain is good, but there are several other options, from mocha to Silknog.
6. So Delicious Purely Decadent Vegan Ice Creams
They don't taste exactly like ice cream, but with indulgent flavors like Chunky Mint Madness and Blueberry Cheesecake, you probably won't mind.
7. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
They're a classic for a reason.
8. Oreos
Check the package, but in many locations oreos are now vegan. Dunk them in your soy milk.
These delicious, organic, ready-to-eat soups come in a range of flavors. My favorite is creamy potato leek.
10. Grilled Portabello Mushrooms
Give the veggie burgers (which don't taste much like burgers anyway) a pass and try grilling a whole portabello mushroom, basted lightly with oil and vinegar. Serve it on a bun, with all your favorite burger fixings.

Post a CommentI eat this and SO much more!! I eat everything -- except meat and seafood. I don't understand why people cannot fathom a diet without including meat. I have been a veggie for nearly 20 years and love it, PLUS I am very healthy! Excellent article!
