10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #10 Magneto
Magneto is more known for being an X-Men villain but he has made appearances from time to time against the Avengers, particularly in the 1960's when his son and daughter, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were in the Avengers.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #9 Hulk
The Incredible Hulk is a hero in the Marvel Universe but his violent tendencies have lead to many encounters with the Avengers. The Hulk and Avengers first butt heads in the first five issues of the Avengers comic and most recently faced off in World War Hulk.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #8 Morgan Le Fey
Morgan Le Fey is based off the famous character from Arthurian Legend. Like in Arthurian Legend Morgan Le Fey is the half-brother of King Arthur but she is also half-elven and is immortal.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #7 Doctor Doom
Doctor Doom is the arch-nemesis of the Fantastic Four but as arguably the top villain in the Marvel Universe Doom has appeared in almost ever comic including the Avengers and Captain America.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #6 Loki
Loki is a best known as a Thor villain but since Thor is a long time member of the Avengers he is often fighting the entire group. The Loki character is based on the Norse god of the same name.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #5 Grim Reaper
The Grim Reaper has always been a better idea than the execution but he has still been a regular in the Avengers comics. The Grim Repear carries with him a scythe weapon that was created by the Tinkerer, much like the actual grim reaper.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #4 Masters of Evil
Supervillain groups are helpful in a comic book starring a superhero group because it is hard to believe a singular villain could take on an entire group of heroes alone. The Masters of Evil had many notable characters over the year including Baron Zemo, Black Knight, Radioactive Man, Ultron, Whirlwind, Beetle, Scorpion, Shocker and Doctor Octopus.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #3 Baron Zemo
There have been two Baron Zemo supervillains. The first Baron Zemo was a classic supervillain that first appeared all the way back in the fourth issue of the Avengers. It might seem crazy to try and duplicated such an important character but in IGN's greatest comic book villains of all-time list they actually ranked the second Baron Zemo and not the first.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #2 Kang the Conquerer
Kang the Conqueror first appeared in the 8th issue of the original Avengers comic. Kang actually has no superpowers but is always a handful for the Avengers because he is a genius, scholar, physicist, engineer and has traveled to the 40th century to learn combat styles that have not be developed yet.
10 Greatest Avengers Villains: #1 Ultron
Ultron might not be as great a villain as Magneto or Doctor Doom but he is a more common Avengers villain. Ultron was created by one of the Avengers members Henry Pym and eventually started to think for itself. But the ironic creations came full circle when Ultron created Avengers member Vision. Ultron has been one of the strongest Avengers villains because he is constantly upgrading himself to make himself smarter and stronger.
