    Hey Interpretation,

    I think we are both in argreement on this. If you read the opening paragraph the freedom that we have as Christians is freedom through Jesus Christ. This article is more intended for Bible Verses for us to reflect on that Freedom we received through Jesus Christ and to remember to glorify Him in all that we say and do.

    When I read these scriptures, I get an entirely different meaning...I don't think that they are intended to highlight human political/social freedom. Time and again the scriptures speak of the freedom that Yeshua brings in the Holy Spirit. If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. That as TRUTH. It applies to slaves, and citizens of even the most tyrranical Communist countries. Man cannot grant the True Freedom... The Moravians, having been freed by the Son, sold themselves INTO slavery to provide a witness. That's freedom. What we have as Americans is a legal, Constitutional freedom - which has nothing to do with Kingdom freedom.

    Moreover, I think Romans 13 does have something to say about July 4... read it carefully, and consider whether you believe that God's word lends itself to exceptions. Overthrow of authority carries a heavy admonition in the Word. Tarring and feathering the authorities, having a "Tea Party", and rebelling is not something that I b

    This Sunday I will be teaching my first Bible study Sunday school class I thank God for this web site it was very helpfull I will be useing it in my lesson
