Christina Applegate has a new sitcom coming out this Fall called Up All Night. On that TV show, she plays a new mom named Reagan who is trying to balance motherhood with her career and husband. Here a some things you might not know about the TV star:

Little known fact: Christina Applegate once played the video game Guitar Hero so often that she got a migraine that lasted for two weeks.

The actress was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. On the diagnosis, she says, "even though it ran in my family, I never in a million years thought it would happen to me. I was scared shitless."

Christina Applegate founded the organization Right Action for Women in order to fund MRIs for women who aren't able to get their insurance companies to cover testing.

Her mother was an actress and her father was a record-producer. They divorced when she was baby.

On spending time: "If I go to a party, I'm uncomfortable. I'd rather just stay home, watch an old Katharine Hepburn movie, put a fire in the fireplace, and hang out with (her boyfriend)."

Little known fact: The actress thought Married with Children wouldn't last beyond 13 episodes. Instead, she was pleasantly surprised by the fact it ended lasting 11 years.

Unlike her character Kelly on Married with Children, the actress says in real life she was a "very non-sexy peson".

Little known fact: She likes to go bowling.

On being fashionable: "It's hard for me. I don't really know how to dress myself very well."
