Norma Kamali - Women's Jersey Racerback Maxi Dress - Walmart, $15

This dress reminds me of the type Angelina Jolie is often seen in while carting her army of children around. Long and sleek, this dress gives off the slight Mortiicia Adams vibe often associated with Angie. At $15, just about any woman can afford a little (long) black dress.

American Rag Sleeveless Sweetheart Crochet Tiered Maxi - Amazon, $39.00

Sweet and simple, this white dress reminds me of the one Claire Danes wore as Juliet in Baz Luhrmann's version of Romeo + Juliet. If she'd lived on the prairie, that is. This is a fresh summer sundress in an updated length, and could be worn with ethereal neutrals or dressed up with brights.

I picked up one at Target last summer that is very similar to the tie dye one from Macy's. I feel so elegant in a long dress and it is sooooo comfortable. Plus, the empire waist ones could also be used for maternity wear.
