1. BBQ Chicken
Usually when you grab the barbeque sauce and crockpot, you use pork roast. Chicken can be just as delicious, and can be an easy substitute for pork with your favorite pulled pork sandwich recipe.
2. Chicken Noodle Casserole
What I love the most about chicken noodle recipes is the ability to cook them in different ways. My favorite involves block cheese, cream of chicken soup, chicken, and noodles in a crockpot.
3. Chicken Strips
This is another use for chicken that can be cooked in a dozen different ways. Since we have a table-top grill, we've been cooking our chicken strips "naked" on the grill - or in other words, with just marinade and no breading.
4. Breaded Chicken Sandwich
The easiest way to fry up a breaded chicken breast is in a deep fryer, but you can also fry them in a pan on the stove. Actually, stove-top frying tends to be much less messy than deep fryer, and has been our preferred cooking style lately.
5. Grilled Chicken Sandwich
If your family doesn't care for fried foods, you can grill your chicken in the oven with a few fantastic spices. There are dozens of different recipes on the internet for grilled chicken.
6. Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo
Not a big fan of sandwiches? Chicken is a fantastic addition to any type of pasta. Cut your chicken into strips, grill, and add to your fettuccini alfredo.
7. Chicken Tacos
There are several different ways to make chicken tacos, from grilling chicken strips like you would for pasta, to slow cooked shredded chicken. You can add any spices you like, or leave it plain so everyone can add their own flavors.
8. Chicken Fried Rice
While this recipe works best with leftover chicken, you can cook chicken for the specific purpose of adding it to fried rice. Great as a side or main dish.
9. Potato Chip Chicken Strips
Since this is our family favorite, it had to be added to the list. Basically all you need is a bag of regular potato chips, chicken breasts cut into strips, and sour cream. We add garlic and onion salt for extra flavor.
10. Chicken Salad
What's great about this dish is it can be used as a side, or as a main dish, just like the fried rice. Use your favorite recipe, or find an easy one on the internet. Don't forget you are allowed to change it to your liking!
