10 More Ideas for Group Halloween Costumes

After the great response to my article 10 Ideas for Group Halloween Costumes, I thought I would go into my creative costume idea trunk and give you 10 More Ideas for Group Halloween Costumes.

These costumes are great for fraternities, sororities, groups of friends, and even large families. They are especially good if you are throwing a party and want the host group to be easily recognizable. You can find idea 1 through 10 here; here are costume ideas 11-20.

Group Halloween Costume 11. Gangsters: To dress up as gangsters, you just need to pick up black fedora and borrow suits from your closet. Girls in the group can dress as flappers. You can make easy flapper dresses by sewing fringe materials found at the hobby store to a long t-shirt or old dress.

Group Halloween Costume 12. Fitness Instructors: This costume idea will be most humorous if most of the participants are not fit (good sense of humor required). Put on your tightest fitting exercise clothing, and do not forget head and wristbands. For an added pumped up affect, add extra stuffing to pecks, and thighs to simulate "muscles".

Group Halloween Costume 13. Angels: You can purchase inexpensive wings and halo's online or makes the wings yourself. You can choose to wear robes, but modern angels would probably wear a snazzy white suit, with white shoes and accessories. Think "cream-cheese commercials".

Group Halloween Costume 14. Britney's: Why not have everyone dress up as the same drunken star. You do not have to be Britney Spears; you can choose any star of the moment and have every dress in a way that mimics her, or him.

Group Halloween Costume 15. Babies: Have everyone dress up as the baby version of themselves. The goal here is to amplify your worst behavior, like tantrums, selfishness, or self-love, while dressing in footie pajamas, a bib, and bonnet. Do not forget to purchase a box of pacifier candy rings.

Group Halloween Costume 16. Pokemon: You will have to go to an online costume store for this one. You should be able to find Pikachu, Togepi, Mudkip, Torchic, and a few other costumes with some diligent searching. You can also try to make your own Pokemon costumes by altering footie pajamas.

Group Halloween Costume 17. Police: I encourage you to not make this costume too realistic. All you need are dark blue slacks or skirt, dark blue or gray shirt, dark blue tie, a fake badge and hat. Your group can double as bouncers.

Group Halloween Costume 18. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: Your elected leader would dress as Willy Wonka in a long coat, wig, cane, and eccentric personality. The rest of the group would pick up some blonde wigs and die them with green food coloring. They would then wear white pants and black tops and make white suspenders that are worn in a criss-cross fashion.

Group Halloween Costumes 19. Star Trek: I may be showing my inner geek by presenting this one, but it must be done. Group Halloween Costume 20. Stuffed Animals: These group costumes can be done with fuzzy footie pajamas, animal ears, and face paint. Have each person choose the animal that they think best represents them.
