10 Movies for Valentine's Day

So are you and your sweetie going to be staying home this Valentine's Day? Well if so, you probably have a nice romantic night of movie watching planned. Well get out the popcorn and get comfy because, here to help you in your quest for Valentine's Day movies, is a list of the ten best movies for Valentine's Day.

"Valentine's Day." "Valentine'sDay" is naturally the perfect movie to watch on Valentine's Day. This movie follows several people throughout the course of their Valentine's Day. This movie includes lots of big name actors and is bound to be a great movie to watch with your sweetie on Valentine's Day.

"Sweet Home Alabama." "Sweet Home Alabama" starring Reese Witherspoon, is the funny tale of a woman who has a thriving career in New York and is proposed to by her boyfriend. The problem is, she is already married. So she goes home to Alabama to try and force her husband to sign the divorce papers so she can get married. But, as they battle it out, their true feelings come out also. "Sweet Home Alabama" is a great movie that both guys and girls will enjoy on Valentine's Day.

"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." Starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is a movie about a journalist who comes up with a story for work where she would show how women drive men away. By doing this she would choose a guy, win him over and then use all the classic mistakes women make to drive them away. Little does she know that she might end up falling for the guy she chose. This is another movie both guys and girls would enjoy as a Valentine's Day date movie.

"Just Like Heaven." "Just Like Heaven" starring Reese Witherspoon is a good romance movie for Valentine's Day, but remember to bring the tissues. In this movie Elizabeth (Reese Witherspoon) finds herself out of her body after a horrible car crash. She also finds a man living in her apartment and it turns out he is the only one who can see her. They go on a quest to find her body and wonder in the mean time why he is the only one who can see her.

"27 Dresses" "27 Dresses" is the classic story of "always a bridesmaid" and stars Katherine Heigl as Jane. After being a bridesmaid twenty seven times Jane is a pro at wedding planning. But, when her sister is going to marry Jane's boss, who Jane just so happens to be in love with, Jane struggles with the decision. During all this, she becomes close with a reporter who is doing a story about weddings.

"The Heartbreak Kid." "The Heartbreak Kid" is a romance, and a comedy about a man who marries a woman he barely knows, but they seem perfect for each other. Till they go on their honeymoon and she starts acting a little crazy. Suddenly, he finds a friend in a woman also staying at the hotel and they slowly start to fall for each other. "The Heartbreak Kid" is a great comedy for Valentine's Day movie watching.

"The Hottie & the Nottie." "The Hottie & the Nottie stars Paris Hilton and Christine Lakin. In this silly romantic comedy Nate Cooper finds hottie, Cristabel again after many years, but she won't date him because she won't leave her not so hot, good friend June at home alone. So Nate attempts to find June a date and is dismayed when they all go running. After spending some time with June, Nate starts to realize he is falling for her and not the hottie he thought he loved for so many years.

"What Happens in Vegas." "What Happens in Vegas" stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz and is definitely one of the best romantic comedies to watch on Valentine's Day. This is the story of how two people run into each other in Vegas, spend the night partying and wake up married. Before going to file for divorce, Jack hit's a three million dollar jackpot. A judge orders them to try and be married for a while so they can give it a true shot.

"Sex and the City." "Sex and the City" the movie, based on the television show, stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Chris North. In Sex and the City the movie the girls are all off living their own lives and eventually come together again. For a chick flick, this is one is a good one for Valentine's Day."The Notebook." "The Notebook" starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, is a good romance movie, but also a tear jerker. An elderly man pays regular visits to a woman in a nursing home and each visit he reads to her from an old journal. The journal tells the story of a young couple who fall in love then are separated for years before they meet again.

    Thanks for the list, Jenn! Several on your list I have seen and loved them. There were some that I haven't seen, but since I now know what they are about, I will be checking them out.
