10 Newlywed Game Questions for a Bridal Shower

Rachel Carpenter (joyful327)
Are you hosting a bridal or wedding shower for a friend? Are you searching for fun games? One entertaining activity is to ask newlywed game questions to the bride-to-be.

This isn't really a game, but more of a funny way to embarrass the bride. Be sure to ask the groom the questions before the shower, and make him promise to not tell his future wife what he said. Then, ask the bride during the shower. One funny twist is to make the bride wear something funny (such as a strange wig) each time she gets an incorrect answer.

Here are a few newlywed game questions for a bridal or wedding shower.

When and where was your first kiss?

Okay, this one is a two part question. But it's a very simple question that should (hopefully) be a "freebie" for the bride. This is a great opening question for the game.

What did you get your fiance for his/her birthday last, and vice versa?

This is another fairly simple question, however, you'd be surprised at how many people will forget! If she's forgotten, it will definitely provide a few laughs.

How often do you (the bride) get your hair cut?

Obviously, you'll ask the groom how often he thinks his fiance gets her hair cut. It will be funny to see if he can guess correctly!

Has your fiance ever passed gas in front of you?

This is a hilarious question that is sure to embarrass the bride. Hopefully the answer will be no.

How many kids do you want to have?

This is a very nosy question, but the guests will be sure to learn about the future family planning.

Have you or your fiance ever gotten a speeding ticket?

You'll learn a lot about the couple's driving history with this question!

Have you or your fiance ever seen a tornado?

This is definitely a very random random question!

If you were to be a type of animal which one would you be? (And vice versa)

This is a thought provoking question that might be a little challenging.

When was the last time you or your fiance rode in an airplane, if ever?

This is another completely random question!

Who has the higher IQ, your fiance or you?

This is probably not something the bride and groom have discussed before!

These are just ten questions for the Newlywed game at a bridal / wedding shower. Another helpful article for planning a bridal shower is "Easy Punch Recipes for a Baby / Bridal Shower." For more game ideas, read "Fun Bridal and Wedding Shower Games and Activities."
