10 Reasons to Go to Disneyland Resort's Lost Bar

Janet Cey
Disneyland Resort has a popular bar that many quests don't know about. This is the Lost Bar. The Lost bar is located in Disneyland Hotel, behind the pool. The Lost bar is not just opened to Disneyland Hotel guests, but to all guests as well as local residents in the area. If you have never been to Disneyland Resorts Lost bar, then here are 10 Reasons you should go to Disneyland Resort's Lost Bar.

# 10 You can get away from the crowds

Disneyland Resort's Lost Bar is a great place to go to outside of Disneyland and California Adventure, as well as Downtown Disney. When you go there it is never too crowded, and it is also a great place to relax and have a alcohol beverage.

# 9 Kids are Welcomes

When you go usually attend a bar, you can not bring kids. The great thing about the Lost Bar is that it is located at Disneyland Resort which means kids are always welcome. They can not sit directly at the bar, however, they can sit at one of the tables around the bar area which is great if parents want to get a drink. There are also remote control boats the kids can play with outside of the lost bar if they do not want to hang out in the bar.

# 8 Best place to get a quick bite with table service

Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney can usually have long lines to get food especially at night. If you want a quick bite to eat and do not want to wait too long, then the Lost Bar also offers food. Food options at the lost bar include hamburgers, cheese burgers, chicken sand which, nachos, and chicken nuggets. You can also get table service, so the staff brings you your food right to your table inside the Lost bar.

# 7 Inexpensive food and beverages

The food and drinks at the lost bar are very inexpensive. Food items are less than $10, and the drink items are usually anywhere from $5-$15 depending on which cocktail you choose.

# 6 Unique Mixed Alcoholic Drinks

Unlike other bars, Disneyland Resort's Lost Bar offers unique drinks that you may never have heard of other places. The drinks are also usually very tasty, and there are so many to choose from in the menu.

# 5 Meet more locals

The lost bar does not only attract guests but the locals who live in the area also hang out there. The great thing when talking to locals is they can usually give you great tips about the surrounding stores and even sometimes about Disneyland.

# 4 Located Disneyland Hotel

The great thing about the Lost Bar is it is located in Disneyland Hotel. This is a great option especially if you and your family are staying inside the hotel.

# 3 easily assessable from the monorail

The lost bar is located a few minutes walk from the monorail, so if you do not want to walk to or from there, you have different travel options.

# 2 Disneyland Annual Passport Discount on Food

Disneyland passport holders can use their card for a discount on food while at the lost bar. Some passport holders think they have to stay inside the parks to get the discount, but you can actually use your discount at the Lost bar as long as it is not for alcohol.

# 1 Friendly Staff

The Lost Bar has the friendliest staff and bar tenders you will meet. They usually recommend the best drinks to choose, and sometimes they know drinks that are not on the menu like the "Black Pearl".

I was just at the Lost Bar over the weekend (11/7/09) and I heard from a VERY reliable source that there is talk in management circles that the Lost Bar will be closing sometime this year. Has anyone heard similar news? That would be tragic! I've met so many folks from around the world there and we have the time to talk and get to know each other. This would be a worse decision that going with the Rocket Rods!!!
