10 Reasons Why Conservatives Should Not Vote for Rudy Giuliani

From a Moderate Libertarian

BD
Well the Republican debates have been going on for a while and people have gotten a chance to see what the Republican Party has to offer, which is not much. The same old tired rhetoric, which we have grown tired of hearing from the current administration. You know the kind I am talking about. "We got to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here"; "Immigrants are soul-less criminals intent on destroying American culture"; "Gay people hate America and shouldn't be allowed to serve in the military"...I think you all should know the drill by now. All the candidates tow the party line and differ very little on the issues with the exception of Ron Paul who is a Libertarian.

Somehow out of the crazy bunch Rudy has risen to the top of the polls so far and assuming Fred "Reagan" Thompson doesn't enter the race; he is on the way to getting that elusive golden ticket known as the Republican nomination. For some reason the conservative base doesn't know much about Ruddy "9/11" Giuliani yet they seem to support him even though he is differs from them on their key issues. Considering the fact that I love this republic of ours I thought I would give the conservatives and anyone else for that matter some reasons not to vote for Rudy.

1. He is Pro-Choice
-Ok to liberals this is probably a good thing but to conservatives this is the biggest political no-no there is. It is right up there with being a gay black atheist running for office.

2. He cheated on his wife and has been divorced twice
-Well there is family values right there...
"There are other moral concerns about Giuliani's candidacy that conservatives should find troubling. He has been married three times, and his second wife was forced to go to court to keep his mistress out of the mayoral mansion while the Giuliani family still lived there. Talk about tap dancing. Also during that time, the mayor used public funds to provide security services for his girlfriend. The second Mrs. Giuliani finally had enough of his philandering and, as the story goes, forced him to move out. He lived with friends for a while and then married his mistress. Unlike some other Republican presidential candidates, Giuliani appears not to have remorse for cheating on his wife."

3. One of his close friends and employee is an alleged child molester
-Rudy still claims his friend Monsignor Alan Placa is innocent though. Rudy is obviously a horrible judge of character.

4. His firm made money from Saudi Oil Enrichment
Irony at its best. Rudy is obsessed with 9/11 so much even though he did nothing to help prevent it after the 1993 WTC bombings. The vast majority of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals yet 41 percent of Americans believe that Saddam Hussein helped plan 9/11. In other news 41 percent of Americans have been declared mentally retarded.

Rudy did however reject a check for 10 million dollars from a Saudi prince to help 9/11 victims. Rudy spouts about 9/11 all the time but he made money from the country who harbored the 9/11 terrorists.

Come on conservatives how can still like this prick???

5. He is pro-gun control
- Well all know conservatives love their guns and that the only amendment they even know about is the 2nd amendment.

6. He uses the 9/11 tragedy for political and financial gain, yet he is woefully unaware of why it happened
-You mean it wasn't because they hated us for freedoms???

7. He is a Cross Dresser, which is one step away from being gay...
-According to most conservatives.
Hey Religious Right... is having some one who "is tough on the war against terror" worth having someone who wears a dress and flirts with Donald Trump?

8. He is a flip-flopper
- He has changed his position on abortion more times than John Kerry has on the Iraq War. That is why you hated Kerry and loved Bush right? You voted for Bush for his unwavering ability to not waver in anything, even when he is wrong and hurting the country.

9. He is a fascist fear-mongering pig???
-Oh wait that might sound appealing to you...to each their own I guess.

10. He Supports Torture of anyone and everyone who might be considered a terrorist including your grandmother
-Dang....you probably like that in a candidate....oh well I am out of reasons then.

If the fate of our country comes down to picking the "lesser of two evils" again with Guilani vs. Clinton we will not be in good shape. Spread the word, do your research and vote with your heart, not with your party card.

I think it was trying to be funny, but it just came out as a waste of space.
