I played with Strawberry Shortcake because she smelled like strawberries, dressed in one of my favorite colors, pink, and even though she was a doll, she was a positive roll model for young girls. 3. She has many friends: Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie, and Raspberry Tart are some of her friends. A doll with many friends is a doll icon.

4. She has faced adversity, and won: The Purple Pie Man tried to cheat during a bake-off. However, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends won in the end.

5. Her favorite color is pink: Strawberry Shortcake is a girly girl and so am I. We both love pink. In fact, when I was a child, my room was painted Strawberry Pink.

6. She has been on television: Strawberry Shortcake has been in a a couple television specials in the 80's and 90's. She also had her own cartoon series.

7. She has many gadgets: she has a snail named Escargot, who is a snail. she rides him anywhere she needs to go. She also has her own bakeshop, bicycle, and hair salon.

8. She is independent: She is a girl who doesn't need a boyfriend to feel special. Huckleberry Pie is just a friend.

9. She has a passion for strawberries: She wears a strawberry dress, a strawberry hat, and lives in a strawberry house. A doll with a passion is a doll icon.
