Noting that your computer is your workplace, if you can't just get your work done without being bothered by your computer's complaints, then you need a new computer. Chances are, there isn't really anything you can do to make it work, given the value of your time and fixing that old crappy machine.

This works for everyone as well. Your computer just won't get it done. Get a new one.

2nd Sign You Need a New Computer - You are hitting the computer out of frustration

This is serious. Symptoms are, you punch your keyboard, the table, hit your monitor with your palm, or throw the mouse. Man, I just you need a new computer. Or you will after destroying the old one.

3rd Sign You Need a New Computer - You have up to date graphics card but still can't play games

If you are a gamer, had bought a new graphics card, and plugged it in without compatibility issues, and then you still can't play that so-amazing-game of yours...you know what to do...

4th Sign You Need a New Computer - Your computer is too old for upgrade

Haha, this isn't even a question. Don't waste your time and money trying to get this antique machine to work.

5th Sign You Need a New Computer - You are having hardware compatibility problems after some upgrade

Branching from number 3, if you have recently decided on an upgrade, however it didn't work due to some compatibility issues? You need a newer computer. Those new installments you bought for the old computer can still be used with the newer machine (just make sure to check for compatibility this time.)

6th Sign You Need a New Computer - Games take forever to load, as well as your applications

Obviously, result is you're irritated. More so if later in the game it will crash and you haven't saved your three hour progress! You need a new PC.

7th Sign You Need a New Computer - Your computer is snail-slow, hangs, crashes, or make annoying sounds...

The basics everyone knows to complain, your computer is slow, it hangs.

Try to listen to the sound it makes during startup or while in use, as these annoying sounds, like noisy fan, clicking hard drive, and others, can mean you serious trouble.

It's not as if you're required to run Windows 7, or if you're a MAC lover...or Linux user and such.

However, these system requirements are often similar to new programs you will need in your work or for everyday use. Some applications require even more.

9th Sign You Need a New Computer - Your computer's motherboard seems to be broken

Aside from upgrades, if your computer has had broken hardware, you can simply just replace it, with the exception of the motherboard.

No one will advise any ordinary computer user to mess up starting from the motherboard, because you will have to unplug everything (plus its senseless because motherboards are expensive and you'll be in a compatibility dilemma)

10th Sign You Need a New Computer - Computer has very slow clockspeed

Processors are just as complicated, which you shouldn't mess with. For modernity's sake, 2.0 Ghz below needs retirement already.
