10 Spooky Cocktails for Halloween

These Drinks Contain Alcohol and Are for Adults Only!

If you are planning a Halloween party for adult friends or if you just want to cozy up with a loved one and get toasty while watching a good old horror movie, try some of these fun-tastic spooky Halloween cocktails! Some are just plain gross to look at. But all are creepily delicious! Click on each of the links to see actual photos of these spooky Halloween cocktails. My two picks for the most gross are Brain Hemorrhage and Blue Lime Ghost. But check them all out to see if there are others you might like to sip on this Halloween!

BROKEN LEG (CLICK HERE for Broken Leg cocktail recipe): This spooky Halloween cocktail contains bourbon and apple juice (you could also use apple cider) and is served hot. It looks like muddy water but I bet a few too many of these could probably cause a broken leg, so be careful!

HALLOWEEN GROG (CLICK HERE for Halloween Grog cocktail recipe): This grog sounds so groggy! It contains dark rum, apple juice, clove, ginger, cinnamon and a few other ingredients that makes it a perfect hot drink for Halloween or any night that you need to warm up!

VAMPIRE KISS (CLICK HERE for Vampire Kiss cocktail recipe): I can't think of anything that screams Halloween more than a kiss from a vampire! This drink looks like a Tequila Sunrise but it's made with vodka and orange juice so it's really a good drink for anyone who like Screwdrivers.

DRACULA'S KISS (CLICK HERE for Dracula's Kiss cocktail recipe): If you don't want a Vampire Kiss maybe you'd prefer a kiss from Dracula! This drink has a bloody look because it's made with black cherry vodka and grenadine. Just don't spill it on the carpet!

BLUE LIME GHOST (CLICK HERE for Blue Lime Ghost cocktail recipe): Hmmm... how do you get the color blue and the flavor of lime in the same drink? Easy! You use lime flavored vodka and blue curacao. If you can't find lime flavored vodka, you could always just use regular vodka and add some lime juice. The name of the drink may be spooky, but the drink itself is beautiful!

GHOSTBUSTER (CLICK HERE for Ghostbuster cocktail recipe): Okay, now we are starting to get to a drink that is starting to look a little too gross to enjoy. Drinking something green is not too appealing. And drinking something green that looks like it has some kind of membrane floating around in it is just plain freaky. The blob of gunk you see in the drink is created by adding Irish cream to peach schnapps and melon liqueur. Nice trick!

DEVIL'S PUNCH (CLICK HERE for Devil's Punch cocktail recipe): The only thing that looks devilish about this drink is the little devil that is hanging off the glass. Other than that, it's just the name that is spooky. But maybe the name is not about how the drink looks but more about how you will act after you drink it. The mix of tequila and orange liqueur may just turn you into a devil!

SEWER WATER (CLICK HERE for Sewer Water cocktail recipe): What a fun name for a cocktail. And it really does look like sewer water. But I bet it tastes much better. The sewer water look comes from a mix of vodka, orange juice and Dr. Pepper. Just don't end up in a sewer after drinking it!

BLACK CAT (CLICK HERE for Black Cat cocktail recipe): I didn't know there was such a thing as black vodka, but apparently there is. And it makes a black drink. I'd sure hate to get sick on this stuff!

BRAIN HEMORRHAGE (CLICK HERE for Brain Hemorrhage cocktail recipe): I saved the best for last! This really does look like a brain. It's created by slowly adding Baileys Irish Cream to strawberry schnapps then dripping a few drops of grenadine on the top for more blood. Excellent!
