10 Steps to Big Beautiful Eyes

Wish you had eyes like a top supermodel? We don't get to pick which gene pool we come from but makeup does make life a whole lot better. One common complaint many women share is having small, unnoticeable eyes. You can increase eye size with a few cool tools and makeup products, in less than five minutes. Break out this eye-catching look for a special date or just whenever you want to garner a little attention.

For the best results, start with clean, moisturized skin. Apply concealer, foundation and primer before getting started.

1. Use a small eye makeup brush and apply a cream to powder shimmery eye makeup to the lower lid. Select a light color like sand or vanilla. Going light and luminous is the best option.
   
2. Rub the brush tip in a medium gray powder eyeshadow. Apply this color in the contour or crease of the eye. Blend it in well. Don't go too heavy, just enough to create a color contrast.
   
3. Apply the medium gray powder eyeshadow below the lower lash line, extending the color out a bit to give the illusion of larger eyes.
4. Dab on clear, sparkling liquid liner to the eyebrow to make them shimmer slightly.
   
5. Tap the sparkling liner above the top lash line and in the inside corners of both the eyes.
6. Use a small-tipped eyeshadow brush and pick up some black eyeshadow. Sweep this dark color over the top lash line, on top of the clear liner you applied.
7. Roll on white eyeliner pencil in the rim of the lower eyes. Never use black eyeliner if you want to make your eyes look bigger.
   
8. Curl the lashes as close to the root as possible to make the eyes look a bit more open. Don't pinch your skin. Heated eye curlers are nice tool for big-eyed girls.
   
9. Brush on two coats of mascara to both the upper and lower lids. Allow the lashes to dry a few seconds in between the coats.
   
10. Attach a few fake eyelashes to the outside corners of the eye to make them look bigger. If you like, try sparkling lashes.
