Watch the St. Patrick's Day Parade: The 2007 Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Atlanta, beginning at 12 p.m. The parade ends at Underground Atlanta with vendors, food, and free entertainment, music, and dancing. Boasting over 200 units participating in the parade, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Parade watchers are encouraged to arrive early to secure prime seating and parking.

Go Under Ground: Underground Atlanta is dying their fountains green and brings in the luck of the Irish with food and free entertainment following the annual Atlanta St. Patrick's Day parade. The musical headliner is Desire, A U2 Tribute Band. In addition, Underground Atlanta offers unique shopping, dining, and history. Underground Atlanta is located on Peachtree Street, between Martin Luther King Drive and Decatur Street.

Buff Up on Your Art: Visit the High Museum of Art and feast your eyes on exhibits highlighting art from the 14^th century through today. Collections of contemporary art, African art, photography, and decorative arts will dazzle and delight your senses. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 per adult, and $4 for seniors and students. Take a Walk Through Time: The Fernbank Museum of Natural History is featuring "A Walk Through Time in Georgia." This lovely museum also boasts an IMAX theatre. Films on natural history topics are presented hourly. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., admission is $8.95 with discounted rates available for seniors, students, and children ages 3 to 12. Have a Drink at the Limerick Junction Irish Pub: Atlanta's oldest Irish pub, the Limerick Junction offer a full bar, food, and live music. The 20^th Annual St. Patrick's Day celebration and block party will open at 12 p.m. on March 17. $5 cover charge until 6 p.m. $10 cover from 6 p.m. until closing. Turn Three-Hundred and Sixty Degrees: The Civil War Museum houses the Atlanta Cyclorama, a three hundred-sixty degree painting of the Battle of Atlanta. This spectacular painting is viewed by visitors from seats situated on a revolving platform floor. History buffs will also find numerous exhibits, information, and memorabilia from the Civil War period. Enjoy a Little Bit O' The Green: At the Atlanta Botanical Garden you won't have to wait for spring to see beautiful blooms. Open all year, the glass-encased Fuqua Conservatory houses a spectacular display of desert, tropical, Mediterranean, and endangered plants native and non-native to Georgia. Located in Piedmont Park, the conservatory is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $7, with discounts available for seniors and students. Answer the Call of the Wild: Zoo Atlanta has an amazing collection of animals, complete with a petting zoo, sprawling out over thirty-seven acres. In inclement weather, a sightseeing train allows visitors to circle the perimeter to view the outdoor exhibits. Zoo hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for ages 3 to 11. Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.

Watch Television: Atlanta is home to CNN Studios where guided walking tours are offered daily; featuring the network operations and technical aspects of CNN, Headline News, CNN International, and the TBS Collection. CNN tours are run every fifteen minutes, daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Admission is $8 per adult, seniors $6, and ages 6-12 will be admitted for $5 each.
