10 Things to Ban for 2007

I was sitting here thinking about everything that has been banned over the course of time. I am a smoker and didn't really like it when smoking at a restaurant was banned but I understood why they did this, so like everything else, I just got over it. I now enjoy being able to eat with my family withoutsomeones cigar choking in my throat and causing me to have a dry cough that could not be stopped even with water.

I also started thinking about all the television programs that I thought I could not live without, being cancelled. I loved the television program, "friends" and thought that it might indeed be the end of the world as we know it when my favorite show of all times ended. The good news was that they replaced it with with a spin off called,"Joey". The only problem with it was, that it was nowhere as good Friends,in fact I only watched it once or twice.

I thought about it for a while and realized that they had also gotten rid of my favorite cartoons like, Bugs Bunny. This cartoon was a classic. They replaced it with cartoons that should almost be rated PG 13. I still can't believe how far we have come and how everyone has moved on.

What would have happened if there was no such things as Adult Swim, which I still cannot believe that they put this on the cartoon network? I still find it frustrating that I have tomonitor my children's cartoon's to make sure that there is nothing on there that would make nun blush.

Here is my solution to the problem, that is if I could actually do this and get away with it. I have compiled a list of things that I would like to see banned for year 2007. I don't meanpermanently, although I really wouldn't mind if they were. I figured that if we did ban these things then I for one, would live a much happier life.

#1 on my list is the most annoying guy of all: The clear eyes guy. I have found him very annoying. He may have made a popular career out of doing thiscommercial, but I don't care because I hated it anyways.

#2 on my list is : celebrity names mix together. Okay, we get it. We all know that Ben and Jennifer are a couple but do we really need it to be rubbed in our faces. Who ever came up with the idea for Bennifer, obviously had way to much time on there hands.

#3 on my list is: reality t.v. shows. You all know that you watch so don't try to say that you don't. I just think that they got old before they even started. Ireally don't want to see a bunch of strangers doing things to their body, someone Else's body, or their live for that matter. I'm not on there, so ban them.

#4 on my list is: The annoying guy or gal at work. You know which one that I am talking about. It always seems that no matter how many times you explain it to them, they still hold the meetings up with all of therenonsense questions. I don't mind people asking questions, this is how we learn, but when they ask the same thing over and over, it tends to drive you nuts.

#5 on my list is: Stupid drivers. These people shouldn't even be allowed on the highway. They either drive to slow and nearly cause a wreck or they speed up andwhip in and out of traffic. Oh, and also some of them should ask themselves ," if the person in front of you happens to hit there brakes, then where would you end up?". In other words get off my tail, your making me nervous.

#6 on my list is: People who know everything. I can't stand it when you can't get one word into an important conversation or when you do you are always made to feel like you don't know anything. These people should take a breather before the run out of air on that small elevator that you have to take everyday to get to work.

#7 on my list is: People who like to yell. We are standing right next to you, and yes this does mean that we can hear you just fine. I wouldreally like to know what is so important that would make you yell over top of everybody. Usually the conversation has nothing to do with them in the first place, I guess they need to put their two cents in.

#8 on my list is: Chain letters. I don't know why you keep sending them to me, I am just going to shred them along with the other ten million that you have managed to send me over a course of time.

#9 on my list is: No offence guys, but this one is for you to keep in mind. I hate when guys look women up and down or make smart remarks. We in no way find this cute or attractive, so please give it up. We look to your heart and not to who can come up with the best line.

#10 on my list is: shoelaces. Yes you heard me correctly, I said shoelaces. I can never keep them tied and have been know to be walking down the street minding my own business, when all of a sudden, I trip. I have tried double knotting but it doesn't matter they still seem to come untied.

I made this list so that it would give you something to think about the next time they invent something that is just annoying andeserves hardly any purpose at all.
