10 Thing's to Do Before You Die

Porsha Clark

During the course of one's life we experience many things. Almost all of us have some kind of routine on a day to day basis. With work, kids, school, enough to keep us on our feet at all times. With that said, there are a few things one should experience before their time expires. Here are ten things you should do before you die.

Number 1: Visit Paris:

Paris is known for being the most romantic city in the world.
This city is incredibly charming and has so much to offer even if you are a not a romantic. This city suits all different styles and personalities. Paris has world renowned shopping, museums, and cafes. When in Paris, take the elevator to the top of the Eiffel tower, watching the sun set on this city is second to none.

Number 2: Spend Christmas in New York

Christmas in New York is like experiencing a real life fairy tale. Something special happens in the city during the holiday season that will leave you speechless. For a fun night out with the family try Serendipity 3 for dinner. Located at 225 East 60th Street NYC 10022. Phone (212) 838-3531. I suggest making reservations. Serendipity's is always packed. You can also check out the restaurant online at:http://www.serendipity3.com. If your plans are for a party of two try Blue Fin located in Times Square at 1567 Broadway@47 NYC. For reservations: (212)918-1400. The way the snow fills the city streets is wonderfully enchanting and will leave you with the desire to revisit this beautiful city every year.

Number 3: Stay at a Five Star Hotel

While there are many great hotels, nothing is as special as treating yourself to a five star hotel, at least once in your lifetime. Try the Mandarin Oriental. With hotels in the Asia Pacific, The Americas, and Europe this is a place you will want to rest your head. The Mandarin is a first class hotel that offers many amenities. For reservations visit: www.mandarinoriental.com.

Number 4: Spend the night in a haunted house/hotel.

If you're ready to test your fear factor try spending the night in a haunted room. Spend a night at The Stanley Hotel located in Estes Park, Colorado. (An hour outside of Denver). The Stanley was built in 1909 and is less than sixty miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. The Stanley Hotel is best known for its inspirational role in Stephen King's "The Shining"and has been featured as one of America's most "haunted" hotels.

There is no place on Earth quite like it. Float in the Dead Sea and relax in its rejuvenating waters. With its warm waters and enough salt to make you float relaxing in these healing waters is most pleasurable.

Number 6: Take a Hollywood Screen Test.

Does the mirror show two faces? Face the judges and try your hand at Hollywood. Casting Agencies are always looking for fresh, new talent. If you have the secret acting bug go to an audition and see if you make it to the big screen.

Number 7: Take an African Safari.

Visit the amazing country of Africa and see what call of the wild brings out in you.

Number 8: Explore the Amazon rainforest.

The Amazon is the largest and densest rainforest on Earth covering over 2.5 million miles. With over 50,000 different species of plants, 1,500 species of birds, and 1,800 species of butterflies this rainforest is one that is meant to be explored.

Number 9: La Tomatina Bunol, Spain

This destination will have you seeing red. Every year in the month of August the town of Bunol, Spain in the area of Valencia hosts what is known as the La Tomatina Festival. Tens of thousands of willing participants gather from all parts of the world to engage in what is one big, harmless tomato fight.
The festival is held in honor of the town's patron saints, Luis Bertran and the Mare de Deu de ls Desemparatas (Mother of God of the Defenseless), a title given to the Virgin Mary.
