Without a doubt, Paris, France is one of the world's top tourist destinations. The city has over 2.3 million inhabitants, with the Paris metropolitan area having around 12 million inhabitants. Paris is known all over the world for it's food, culture, and rich history. It would take a very long time to do everything there is to do in Paris, but for this article, we will focus on ten.

The Eiffel Tower

No trip to Paris is complete without first seeing The Eiffel Tower, one of the most celebrated towers in France, Europe, and the entire world. The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889. It was built by celebrated engineer Gustave Eiffel. It is 317 meters high, and is comprised of three floors. It also has television and radio transmitters on top, and serves Paris.

Place de la Concorde

Place de la Concorde is a square that is located in Paris, France. It was built by Louis XV' architect Gabriel from 1755 to 1775. It is shaped like an octagon, and has been the location of many historical events. It also offers amazing view of the Louvre, among many other things.

Musee D'Art Moderne

Musee D'Art Moderne is located in Paris, France. It became an art museum in 1961. It was originally a palace. The museum houses over 8,000 pieces of modern art. It features the trends that are shaping today's art as well as takes a look at art of the recent past.

Jardin des Halles

Jardin des Halles is a beautiful garden located in Paris, France. Featured are a few ponds, eleven fountains, sculpted plants, and a terraced flower garden, to name a few.

Palais Royal

Palais Royal is located in Paris, France. It features modern sculptures by Buren and Bury, along with stunning 17th-century architecture. It features chestnut trees and lime trees, fountains, 180 arcades, among many other wonderful and fascinating sights.

Le Bristol is a restaurant located in Paris, France. It is well-known all over the world. Eric Freshon is the chef at Le Bristol. He is a favorite chef of many famous people, including Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France. The restaurant features Hungarian oak wood paneling, and 18th-century tapestries. Black truffles, Bresse fattened chicken, and stuffed Macaroni are but a few of the items on the menu at Le Bristol.

Galeries Lafayette is a shopping center located in Paris, France. It is the best place to shop in all of France. It features wares by some of the top fashion designers in France, including Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Christian Lacroix, as well as other international fashion designers, such as Prada, Armani, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, and Sonia Rykiel.

Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe is located in Paris, France. It is also one of the most well-known arches in the world. It also overlooks the Champs-Elysees, another thing that the world recognizes from France. It is also a symbol of Napoleon era France. Arc de Triomphe is truly amazing.

Disneyland Resort Paris

Disneyland Resort Paris is located in, you guessed it, Paris, France. It is one of the more popular theme parks in Europe, and features everything you've come to expect from a Disney theme park, including Mickey and friends.

French for a day is a guided tour located in Paris, France. The tour features shopping and cooking programs for individuals or groups. The tours are tailored to each person individually.
